“I honestly don't even know how to describe how good this ice cream is! Melt Me Creamery has completely ruined all other ice cream shops for me. I ordered a split scoop with Mango Sticky Rice and Pink Berry, and my mind was absolutely blown.The Mango Sticky Rice is easily the best flavor on the menu. It’s actually a vegan flavor, combining a super rich, creamy coconut ice cream base with a vibrant mango sorbet. The contrast between the two textures works so incredibly well, and it tastes exactly like the actual Thai dessert without being overly heavy.Pairing it with the Pink Berry was the ultimate move. It adds this beautifully bright, refreshing, and slightly tart fruit contrast that balances out the rich coconut flawlessly. “Was really sad to see my favorite unique + quality brunch spot in the bay change format to being fast casual. It was such an easy brunch pick to take out of towners or friends to.

Now instead, they've become easily one of the best fast-casual food in the bay. So I really can't complain. I guess their format changed worked because I've eaten here more often than when they were full service. The value for the money you get here is pretty nuts. Still just as good ingredients & just as good preparation, all at a more approachable price point & form factor. What really gets me is I'm truly getting restaurant quality cooking for a unique cuisine I don't see very often, just a version that works better to-go. When you compare to some of the other casual lunch/dinner places in the area that have a similar format, it's really no competition. You'd be hard pressed to find a better way to spend $20-30/pp. I also love that they kept some of my favorite guilty pleasures from when they were a full service restaurant, like the knafe pancake.

Their in-house online ordering system is pretty slick and a good deal too. Works just as well as doordash without any of the bloated prices. Wouldn't mind seeing this spread around to more restaurants.“

We’ve been ordering from Hawking Bird for the last year - it’s our go-to spot for delicious fried chicken and flavorful garlic noodles. Our standard order: the Tanya Special. This ingenious dish focused on my favorite Hawking Bird offerings with none of the fluff. Imagine my disappointment when I learned this special was removed from the menu! Yes, you can alter the fried chicken bowl (sub noodles, remove the cucumber/cilantro/mint) but Tanya was generous, providing a larger portion size that cannot be recreated. Times are tough, and Miss Tanya provided some relief.

My loyalty to Hawking Bird has not wavered, I’m placing an order right now - but please consider bringing this special back!“

The vibes here are great, the bartenders are lovely, and they have some great merch for sale! My mom who visits from out of state has bought a tote bag, hat, and sweatshirt from Redfield just so she can flex to her friends back home how awesome this bar is. “Very friendly owner. Offered 5% discount on cash payments. We ordered 3 dishes. Kaokao chicken, char siu over rice, and beef brisket noodle soup. The star of the meal was the char siu over rice. We’ll reorder that for sure. The beef brisket’s soup was soy sauce forward, my husband enjoyed the noodle but it was a tad too soft for me. The kaokao chicken is very well cooked, moist chicken, but it was a confused dish imo, so it is not a dish we would reorder. Overall good tasting food, we’d come back for the char siu. The restaurant was very smokey, and it stuck to my body and clothes all day after. So I would not come here before going anywhere important, so you’ll smell of bbq.“

The braised lamb sandwich had soft flatbread, crunchy herbs and vegetables, a tangy sauce, and perfectly tender lamb. The service was friendly, warm, and the food came out quickly. “Amazing hole in wall. Very pleasant individuals explaing their menu. The coffee is very good; Honey Laveneder latte seems to he their signature and it doesn't disappoint. From the menu we tried the Avocado Toast and Ful plate. Both items were tasty and it was enough to share between two. The Ful came with warm bread, possibly freshly baked. It was an enjoyable experience. Definitely worth the visit and a must try.“

“When people say a place is 'a hole in the wall', it can go two ways. In this case, it means intimate, small and you hope it's not crowded when you go because there are more fans than seats.

We got lucky, and went before (5pm) the crowd flooded in immediatelyafter we ordered. There was only one Hamachi Kama in the house, and we were the fortunate ones to have tasted it. It's clear this fish wasn't previously frozen, (if it was, they knew how to mask it) it was flaky, super fresh and flavorful.

Each piece of the Kensington roll was SO large, I'm embarrassed to share a photo of me cramming it in my mouth, because it was impossible to be graceful.

The beer with a hint of peach was a must try, it perfectly paired with everything we ordered.

“Wow this place punches well above its weight class. Came here for an early Sat dinner with my husband, who is a regular at this place. (Ty to the owner for that delicious dessert item on the way out, wow so yum!)

Got the chicken kebab, chicken shawarma, and Greek salad. Everything was seasoned so perfectly and the rice was pillowy and flavorful. I don't have a bad thing to say about this place. If you're in the area and in the mood for yummy Mediterranean food, then this is your spot. Get a baklava to top everything off. King of kebab is a bold name, but they def hold up to it. Highly recommend.“

This was easily my favorite item on the menu! It had multiple thin, soft layers of crepe, and the inside was packed with Oreo crumbs, cream, and so much flavor. Every bite had the perfect combination of the soft crepe, creamy filling, and Oreo crunch. I could genuinely eat this one again and again!

🍪 Biscoff Croffle
This was perfectly crunchy on the outside while still being soft and fluffy on the inside. It was topped with a generous amount of Biscoff drizzle, which gave it that sweet caramelized Biscoff flavor without being too overwhelming. The crunch + drizzle combination was SO good!

🥭 Mango Lemonade
This was genuinely so, so good! I’m not usually a fan of really sweet drinks, and especially with lemonade, it can be really easy for the sugar to become overpowering. This had a great tangy mango flavor and was super refreshing! I even gave my dad a sip once I got home and it was officially dad approved. He was a big fan of it too!

🍓 Dubai Chocolate Strawberry
This was my first time trying Dubai chocolate strawberries and it was definitely a hit! The strawberry was super fresh and juicy, with a generous layer of chocolate and that crunchy, nutty pistachio-kataifi filling that made every bite so satisfying. I loved the combination of the fresh strawberry with the rich chocolate and crunchy filling!

Overall, Scoop N Chill is such a cute spot if you’re craving something sweet, especially if you want a place where you can actually sit, relax, and enjoy your dessert. Next time I go, I'm definitely interested in also trying the gelato and the sushi crepes“
