The shop itself is cozy and welcoming with indoor and outdoor seating. Melt Me is a small business operated by kind people who are dedicated to innovation and quality.“

“I've been many times and always enjoy the food. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary today, so in my reservation request I asked if they could play our song after we got there. Without saying anything to the staff about it when we arrived, the song came on a little after we were seated. We both teared up a bit; it surprised me how something so simple could feel so special. The good:

Bettenjan bi tahina: So flavorful! Loved all the sauces, and the dish came together beautifully — healthy food with great presentation.

The not-so-good:

Portion sizes were quite small, so we left feeling a bit unsatisfied.

The sumac spritz tasted mostly like sugar water with barely any other flavor.

Overall, a nice place if you’re looking for healthy options, though it would be great to see some chicken kebabs for non-vegetarians and falafel choices for vegetarians.“

“Honestly one of the best pizza crusts I've ever had. I had the focaccia spring special pizza - with squash blossoms and burrata. The Pear Basil Gimlet is one of the best mocktails I've ever had. The brussels are dark brown and crispy and melty. Plus - LOTS of gluten free options!

I rarely have a meal where every single part of it is delicious. This place is a treat, I'd highly recommend it.“

I recently ordered mini sfogliatelles, cannolis, (3) meter long pizzas n wonder focaccia bread to make sandwiches and their famous olive bread sticks!!! Thanks for the beautiful foods and service!!! “My friend had been telling me about this place for months, and I finally went. It's as great as she said! The coffee (well, I had a Chai) was delicious and so were the pastries. They also sell a small variety of items - prepared grab and go food & drinks, jams, and more! The vibe is awesome. It's cute inside & out, with lovely outdoor space on the front patio or back. It reminds me of the coffee houses in Portland (houses w/ tables set up in different rooms).
To top off how great they are on a normal day, when I absentmindedly left my purse just before they closed, they called back to confirm it was there & safely held on to it until my friend could pick it up for me the next morning.“

And the daily salads are always a home run. Because the salads are already composed, and you order at the counter, service is immediate. They also have delicious coffee and tea beverages, as well as a daily agua fresca and some really delicious-looking desserts (one a day). I'm vegan, and they have yet to offer vegan desserts, but they always have at least 3 vegan salads available. The vibes here are great, the bartenders are lovely, and they have some great merch for sale! My mom who visits from out of state has bought a tote bag, hat, and sweatshirt from Redfield just so she can flex to her friends back home how awesome this bar is. “A pure delight. Terrific homemade food that is fresh and filling. I love the rockfish sandwich, which I order open-faced next to a seasonal salad and a fat slice of cake. The coffee is strong and they also serve beer and wine. I can’t wait to try a warm plate, there is schnitzel, kugel, pasta … A little piece of me died when Gaumenkitzel closed, but my heart is healing at Anja’s.“

Parking was easy and we walked into a warm atmosphere with high ceilings, long tables with comfortable chairs and professional service. “Yesterday I had the pleasure of walking into this family owned establishment, The environment was clean, and the people were very kind. The menu was exceptional with great prices. I got the chicken Marcella, the naan, and the salmon which was the daily special. The chicken Masala was perfectly spiced. I got the mild because I can't eat spicy food. I dipped the naan in it and it tasted perfect. The naan was big and fresh and its own separate bag, so I was able to take it home and munch on it later now the salmon was delicious. It was super crispy and juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was complementary to the fish. it was wonderful to be able to talk to the Chef and get to know the people that cooked my food. The chef that's been working there. He's on the establishment for a while and he's been cooking for over 40 years. He also told me that he is from New York, which definitely shows in his food because this Indian Pakistani restaurant is definitely authentic. I will drive an hour and a half to come back here again. Definitely would recommend them for Catering or a nice dinner date.“

“An excellent restaurant. As a South Indian, thayir sadam is a comfort dish you grow up eating, but rarely get outside the house. For a very affordable $10, I got a sizable portion of thayir sadam that took me back to my childhood days. I got thayir sadam (yogurt + rice) with paneer, pickle, cucumbers, carrots, and spiced peanuts, and it was INCREDIBLY refreshing and tasty. I spoke with the owner as well, and he is a very nice gentleman. Highly recommend this restaurant for those who love thayir sadam, and those who have yet to try this South Indian staple!“

(Fish and chips, salad, 2 chowders, some raw and some grilled oysters. In retrospect the move might have been to order some more fries for the calories.) Came here with partner & parents and sat outside. One issue was that the music was way too loud to be able to have a conversation without yelling. After waiting a while for raw oysters checked in with waitstaff and found they’d misdelivered the order to a different table. (It was a super busy night.) I wasn’t a huge fan of the salad; it was small but pricy and could’ve used some citrus to brighten it up. Fish and chips were delicious.“

“From what I can tell, this is one of the best ice cream and sweet shops in Berkeley! It's hidden in Crave Subs, but it has a lot of appeal in its own right.

The stand is decorated with waffle-cone lattice and decorative ice cream cones attached to the ceiling. It has bright and attractive signs and electronic arms whirl the ice cream right in front of you. Not only is the storefront adorable, but it's also located in the cartoon-themed Crave Subs. You can tell that the working area is kept very clean.

The menu is actually pretty extensive. It's a place that sells croffles, crepes, scoops of flavored gelato, milkshakes, and coffee. The gelato here is incredible!

The prices are entirely what I would expect, and the quality is very high. Everything they serve is beautiful, tasty, and carefully made! It appeals to children and adults alike.

The service is great! They are friendly and careful attentive with their work.
