The shop itself is cozy and welcoming with indoor and outdoor seating. Melt Me is a small business operated by kind people who are dedicated to innovation and quality.“

“We loved our meal at Tane Vegan Izakaya in Berkeley! The things we got for takeout, ranked in order of deliciousness: 1. Pacifica specialty roll, perfect tempura eggplant, AMAZING creamy aioli 2. The Wedge specialty roll, so flavorful, just the right level of spice 3. Da bao, bean curd was especially good 4. Kailua specialty roll, very good but we preferred the other specialty rolls For some reason this actually seemed better than Shizen in SF, which we've also tried. Not sure why. Both are good though! The good:

Bettenjan bi tahina: So flavorful! Loved all the sauces, and the dish came together beautifully — healthy food with great presentation.

The not-so-good:

Portion sizes were quite small, so we left feeling a bit unsatisfied.

The sumac spritz tasted mostly like sugar water with barely any other flavor.

Overall, a nice place if you’re looking for healthy options, though it would be great to see some chicken kebabs for non-vegetarians and falafel choices for vegetarians.“

“The food was really good. The standouts were the Calamari Fritti, Caponatta, and the Cosacca. The Ruccola was the only dish that felt flat, but tasted fresh. Service was good and we luckily did not need a reservation. Would definitely return and it's recommended!“

“we made a reservation ahead of time and ordered the prix fixe brunch, and they customized the menu to accommodate our dietary restrictions (pescatarian). the food was delicious, the atmosphere was so sweet, and the staff was incredibly thoughtful. 100% would go back! (personal faves: iced ube espresso, lava eggs, smoked sturgeon dip, prawn and fish stew, beignet with ube condensed milk and warm soy milk and bean drink)“

“You enter through a walkway full of displays. Then a beautiful patio, up a ramp where you can grab a menu and wait in line. You place your order at the register and get a number. We found a table, grabbed ourselves water and waited for food to come out as its made. Luckily we were sharing plates so it didn’t matter how long between dishes.“

“The char siu pork is incredibly tender. The cold noodles with peanut sauce and chili oil had plenty of sauce and were perfectly cooked. The bbq brisket noodles with soup was delicious, the broth was amazing and the meat and noodles were also cooked perfectly. The staff was working tirelessly and were very accommodating. Its a great place to meet for coffee in the most beautiful Colonial house! The atmosphere is amazing and would be a great place to work or complete school assignments.

I ordered a Caramel Machiato (hot) with oatmilk and it was one of the best cups of coffee I've had! The brie and ham croissant was delicious, but would be better if warmed or at least given the option. 4/5. It would be 5/5 if there was an option to warm baked goods.“

My mom who visits from out of state has bought a tote bag, hat, and sweatshirt from Redfield just so she can flex to her friends back home how awesome this bar is. “A pure delight. Terrific homemade food that is fresh and filling. I love the rockfish sandwich, which I order open-faced next to a seasonal salad and a fat slice of cake. The coffee is strong and they also serve beer and wine. I can’t wait to try a warm plate, there is schnitzel, kugel, pasta … A little piece of me died when Gaumenkitzel closed, but my heart is healing at Anja’s.“

We had the Richmond Roll and the Pink Lady. The vegetarian options are so delicious that I am going to go back over and over again just to try everything on the menu. Parking was easy and we walked into a warm atmosphere with high ceilings, long tables with comfortable chairs and professional service. “Yesterday I had the pleasure of walking into this family owned establishment, The environment was clean, and the people were very kind. The menu was exceptional with great prices. I got the chicken Marcella, the naan, and the salmon which was the daily special. The chicken Masala was perfectly spiced. I got the mild because I can't eat spicy food. I dipped the naan in it and it tasted perfect. The naan was big and fresh and its own separate bag, so I was able to take it home and munch on it later now the salmon was delicious. It was super crispy and juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was complementary to the fish. it was wonderful to be able to talk to the Chef and get to know the people that cooked my food. The chef that's been working there. He's on the establishment for a while and he's been cooking for over 40 years. He also told me that he is from New York, which definitely shows in his food because this Indian Pakistani restaurant is definitely authentic. I will drive an hour and a half to come back here again. Definitely would recommend them for Catering or a nice dinner date.“

“An excellent restaurant. As a South Indian, thayir sadam is a comfort dish you grow up eating, but rarely get outside the house. For a very affordable $10, I got a sizable portion of thayir sadam that took me back to my childhood days. I got thayir sadam (yogurt + rice) with paneer, pickle, cucumbers, carrots, and spiced peanuts, and it was INCREDIBLY refreshing and tasty. I spoke with the owner as well, and he is a very nice gentleman. Highly recommend this restaurant for those who love thayir sadam, and those who have yet to try this South Indian staple!“

“There's some slight confusion because ordering from "Slice of Hollywood" from Eat24, you get pizza from Pizza Nation, but that's no big deal. The food is GOOD. Came here with partner & parents and sat outside. One issue was that the music was way too loud to be able to have a conversation without yelling. After waiting a while for raw oysters checked in with waitstaff and found they’d misdelivered the order to a different table. (It was a super busy night.) “From what I can tell, this is one of the best ice cream and sweet shops in Berkeley! It's hidden in Crave Subs, but it has a lot of appeal in its own right.

The stand is decorated with waffle-cone lattice and decorative ice cream cones attached to the ceiling. It has bright and attractive signs and electronic arms whirl the ice cream right in front of you. Not only is the storefront adorable, but it's also located in the cartoon-themed Crave Subs. You can tell that the working area is kept very clean.

The menu is actually pretty extensive. It's a place that sells croffles, crepes, scoops of flavored gelato, milkshakes, and coffee. The gelato here is incredible!

The prices are entirely what I would expect, and the quality is very high. Everything they serve is beautiful, tasty, and carefully made! It appeals to children and adults alike.

The service is great! They are friendly and careful attentive with their work.

“So delicious and definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the East Bay--we've been twice in three weeks. We got the cilantro beef both times, and rotated other dishes. Everything has been really good and very fresh. When we went last weekend the staff (I assume the family owners?) were sitting at a table folding dumplings and chatting. It was nice to see the handmade assemy process and it seemed like a labor of love.
It's been pretty quiet when we've been in at lunchtime on the weekends. Go try it!“
