“I love this place I would travel so far just to try the cookies every week as they change flavors. It’s so exciting you have to try this place. Specially, in Inglewood the energy is so cool.“

“This place is definitely under New management. I can tell the difference on my.previous visits. The new staff and service was excellent!
I’m very pleased with the cookies were so soft and fresh and looked incredible, the staff was really hospitable too. Thank you so much. I’m happy to see the changes.“

“I feel bad for the one and only employee working there today who's coworker left her with no cookies baked and unable to fulfill the orders. She did the best she could and was apologetic and explained the lack of product. Need to have more than one person running a store like this.“
“They're dessert rotation sucks. They have not had the apple spice cookie in a long time it's been months yet they keep the Snickerdoodle rotation often. Store is clean. There touch-screen order tablet does not operate right. I kept tapping the item and nothing was happening. Then the person came over and placed our order.“

“If you’re looking for authentic Japanese traditional sweets in Gardena, Chikara Mochi is a must-visit! Their yaki dango (similar to mitarashi dango) is absolutely delicious—soft, chewy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.
They also have a beautiful selection of wagashi and mochi that are almost too cute to eat. Everything is colorful, photogenic, and clearly made with care.
The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the different sweets, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and try more!“

“The perfect escape from a hot Cali day!!!
The two employees who were working behind the counter, were slammed with orders, but never once did either show any frustration or bad attitude. Customer service was top notch.
My husband and I ordered the large shaved ice with 2 fresh fruits, we got the strawberry and mango!!! Super yum!!! 😋“

“As others have said, don’t let this inconspicuous shop fool you. These mochi have incredible flavor and texture, and while they are a few dollars a piece, I think hand crafted sweets deserve a little support, no?
The person that helped me was friendly and explained the various flavors so I could fill a 10pc box with a variety. My favorites were the pink mochi and imo manju. Bring cash!“

“Creamery really rises to the cone-casion — pun intended
Creamery is a true Manhattan Beach institution. Generations of locals have ended beach days here, and it’s easy to see why. While the ice cream is excellent, the real star is the legendary ice cream sandwich—freshly baked cookies wrapped around generous scoops of ice cream. Simple, messy, and absolutely worth it.
The atmosphere is casual and friendly, with that classic Southern California beach-town charm. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime local, Creamery is one of those places that never seems to go out of style.
Pro tip: Order the ice cream sandwich, no questions asked. Then take the short walk to the pier or the Strand—it’s the Manhattan Beach tradition you didn’t know you needed.“

“Refreshing Korean shaved ice with fruits. (Not to be confused with Hawaiian shaved ice.) The price tag appears a little steep for ice at first glance, but it is more substantial in content and presentation, so it is not as bad in the end. A better price point would be a dollar less.“

“I really like how this is a family business, which is one reason I keep coming back. I normally go Saturday Mornings for a Ham & Cheese Coussaint and rainbow sprinked donut. Today I bought my regular plus a bag of chips and Vietname Ice Coffee for only $12.55. Where else are you going to get a deal like this? Today, the shop was filled with people talking with friends eating donuts and drinking coffee and a lot of Togo customers. I support small, family businesses. 😃“

“Came for the coffee cake! 😄
From the very first bite, I was instantly transported back to elementary school—the kitchen, the lunch ladies, and all my classmates. I honestly had to hold back tears because this coffee cake tasted exactly how I remembered it... absolute perfection. ❤️
Next up was the breakfast burrito, and I had no idea there was such a thing as the perfect level of crispiness until now. The bacon was perfectly crispy, and the tater tots were beautifully golden brown. 🤤
And finally, because we had to try it... 😂 the chorizo avocado toast! The chorizo was so perfectly seasoned and cooked, it would've earned a nod of approval from any Apaaaa' and Amaaaa'. 🙌 Paired with the Spanish coffee, the whole experience was elevated to another level.
I seriously had to sit there for a minute and reflect—and thank the IG universe for sending me their way. 😂
It goes without saying... 10/10 recommend! 👏❤️“

“Came around 9am and got a few donuts along with a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Donuts were nice and soft, perfectly glazed. It reminds me a lot of my aunt's donuts and I always thought she made the best donuts in the family compared to the rest of the family on both of my parents side. The croissant sandwich is good too, it has mayo, scrambled egg and bacon on a big croissant. It's good value for what you get, it's not toasted or packaged like you would get at any upscale coffee shop, but I still think it's good for a quick fix. Having grown up in a donut shop and being around family who also owned donut shops for 40+ years, I understand all the work and effort that goes into operating a donut shop. Whoever is the baker here at this donut shop is doing a wonderful job at making the donuts. Kudos to the operators for getting the right flour for the donuts as well.
All in all I think this is a great donut shop with a good selection of items without having too many things to sell like some other locations. I would come back here again if i had a hankering for donuts while I'm in SoCal.
But this is a nice quaint donut shop, and if you like softer donuts this is the place for you. But if you like the tougher donuts then I wouldn't recommend this place. The price seemed reasonable to me, especially with the cost of flour going up; it's justifiable in my opinion. There is no inside seating; only take out. The people working were friendly enough as well. If you got time, definitely give this place a try. Parking looks to be small but it wasn't packed like i had expected when i walked in that morning.“
