“5-star alert! My wife surprised me with this delicious Tunisian restaurant on Father’s Day! It was like an exotic trip to Mediterranean North Africa. The servers were good and the owner was super friendly and helpful! We had prawns, fish, lamb, cauliflowers, and the infamous Hand of Fatima. Everything was delicious, with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The sauces were so unique and flavorful, we had 3 orders of bread as we want to enjoy more of the flavors in every dish!“

“LAITH'S Café! The food is amazing! It is 5 star Mediterranean food in an almost hidden corner. Laith is a top quality businessman, and you can sense his passion for his product. I enjoyed a beef Sharma plate and sampled all three of the suggested sauces. All the sauces are fresh and tasty. I ate them all! I really enjoyed the garlic sauce and highly recommend it. Laith's Café also makes its own assorted fresh fruit health juices, and markets fine coffees mixed with cardamon, cacao, and dates from family farms in Jordan. For authentic Mediterranean qusine and exotic flavors from the ancient world, Laith's Café is your place, Laith's Cafe is a hidden gem one must visit.“

“I really love this place. It feels like you’re walking into a special place somewhere in Europe. And it’s tucked away enough to not be super touristy and crowded. “I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

“I’ve seen this place since 2017 but never decided to eat here once I found out it was a Greek restaurant (at that point I thought they just served chopped up grilled chicken on top of bowls of salads with olives) but boy was I wrong.
The service is as good as the food, both magnificent. I finally came here because of LATryGuy on YouTube review in one of his YouTube channel shorts and when I saw the chicken I said “OH it’s like Dino’s Greek style chicken with the seasoning and lemon juice on the bed of fries at Dino’s restaurant) I tried both types of lemon garlic chicken meals at Maisons so far the regular and spicy (which it’s actually not that spicy at all) and they were good. The gyro is good too, I’m just disappointed they have not re-upped on the LEGENDARY LAMB CHOPS for months after the review. Next I have to try the shrimp pasta like LA TRY Guy reviewed he said it was a 10/10 for everything.“

“So I’ll start this by saying that I’ve eaten a lot of gyros in my life. I like gyros. So when I saw there was a spot near me serving gyros, it really excited me and filled a craving that I had for awhile.
I got two lamb gyros with feta cheese and extra tomato/onions. I was greeted with a smile and a laugh from an extremely nice couple. They got my food to me quick and I devoured both. Honestly I could’ve just done one with how big they were.

Standouts for me were the kafta kabob and the gyro meat. I was very impressed with the authenticity of the flavors and the loving care put into the preparation and the presentation. And, the accompanying baba ganoush was very fresh and tasty. David, the chef and owner (along with his wife) is very friendly and welcoming. “My husband and I always come here for Sunday brunch after the farmers market. We never make a reservation, but if you get there at 11 you can usually get a table. The BBQ is delicious, there is always fun music playing, and all of the staff is so nice and attentive. We especially love our usual servers Michael and Brianna! It has become our Sunday ritual :)“

“I visited The Hummus Factory in Manhattan Beach yesterday, craving some Lebanese food, and wow, I was blown away! The hummus is top-notch—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, and the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I also tried the gyro, and everything was just amazing. The pita was warm and soft, the salad fresh and crisp, and the lamb was perfectly marinated—it literally melted in my mouth.

My wife went for the Greek salad, and she couldn’t stop talking about how refreshing and light it was. If you're in the area and in the mood for some delicious Mediterranean food, this spot is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Manhattan Beach.“
