It made me feel like I was eating inside the Loop in Chicago, but without the usual heaviness or saltiness of traditional deep-dish. The sauce was vibrant, the cheese was gooey and indulgent, and the crust had that perfect golden crunch. The Owners and Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. Starting with the food, every time I've eaten here, the quality and consistency have been superb. I hate it when I eat somewhere once, have a great meal, but when I go back it's like a different restaurant. Not at this place! The quality, the presentation and portions have been amazing every time. The salmon salad pictured is the best In SoCal. The fresh gnocchi cannot be beat.
Next, the service... the staff is well trained, attentive and timely. I have never had to flag someone down to place an order, get more bread, a drink or the check. One of the reasons for that is amazing , hard working managers, like Tony! Anytime you see a manager on the floor working as hard to support the wait staff, I know it'll be a good service experience.
Lastly, cost vs value, Spumoni can hardly be beat. Portion size is definitely 2 meals worth and with every penny they charge. Which is why I'm not going to mention their happy hour deal...4:30-6pm daily... which is almost absurd. You'll have to go find out for yourself!“

“Discovered Petramale Pizza through a friend. We custom ordered our pizza and ate it in the lot. The pizza came out so hot and fresh.

The cheese was a little muted by the flavor of our toppings - jalapeños. I like spicy food and thought they put the perfect amount - although they were roasted by the oven.

The crust was a highlight for me - I think it had a great texture.

Honest hard-working pizza joint with locals constantly passing through. We had 3 different slices each - Grandma, Pepperoni & Marguerite/Cheese - washed down with a soda. “I used to love going to Planta when I lived in Canada, so I was genuinely happy to discover they have locations in California too. The menu offers a fantastic selection of fresh, flavorful vegan dishes that make plant-based eating exciting, not restrictive. It’s fast, creative, and satisfying — definitely not your average vegan fare. The bar is impressively stocked, offering great cocktail options that complement the food well. However, the service left a bit to be desired. We had to wait quite a while for our drinks, and our server barely checked in throughout the meal, which took away from the overall experience. Still, if you're looking for high-quality vegan food with bold flavors and great variety, Planta is absolutely worth visiting. Just cross your fingers for better service. My boyfriend introduced me to this little gem a few years ago and I can honestly say any other pizza I try since doesn't come close to the amazing taste that Jack's pizza makes. We're lucky enough to live 3 minutes away from this place, so we usually pick up and bring the pie home, but it's always piping hot and perfection every time. I honestly don't go anywhere else for pizza since my first bite of Jack's pizza, and I can pretty much guarantee you won't either. This place has been around for a long long time, I think somewhere around the 80's and I hope they stay around making magic in the kitchen for many years to come. “I have been going here for 15 years. And the quality has not decreased whatsoever. This is in my opinion the best pizza in South Bay.The pizza is very low in price and very high quality in taste. The staff are friendly and kind, and I always have a great conversation with them, though I am a talker.The interior is also a little slice of New York. Highly recommend!!

“Yum!!! I don’t know how this guy does it, but he’s making absolutely delicious and addictive pizza. A mix between Chicago bar pizza and New Haven thin crust. I ordered a double sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, and basil pizza. I asked for an extra crispy crust too. Perfection! He makes his own sauce and dough and with 2 painfully small countertop ovens, turns out mouthwatering pie. I’ve gone back a number of times now so he’s the real deal. I have the nerve to give him an 8.0 on the Barstool Sports scale. This guy needs a bigger place. No seating inside, just outside.

Oh, the pepperoni calzone was also excellent, but with pizza this good, why? And the pizza was only $15 bucks! If the owner gets a bigger place with proper ovens, watch out!“

My daughter ordered the vodka pasta with chicken and she loved it. Just a little bit is spice and great flavor. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It's not paper thin but it's not thick either. The pepperoni on it was delicious. It was a bit noisy because there were lots of kids as it is sort of a neighborhood spot.
