“Stopped by for dinner because we were in the area. Ordered cheese pizza and were pleasantly surprised. This thin crust pizza was scrumptious! The pizza was super yummy and the sauce tasted fresh and homemade. Although the sign outside says they serve sandwiches but currently they only have pizza and arugula salad. The inside has a small area of bar type seating, with a quaint outdoor dining area. If you love thin crust, you’ll love this pizza! It’s worth a drive to give it a try.“

“Red & Louie’s makes one of the best cheese pizzas I’ve ever had — simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. The crust was spot-on, the sauce had just the right balance, and the cheese was gooey perfection. I also tried their craft soda and loved it — super refreshing and a nice change from the usual. Great spot in Hermosa Beach. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Spumoni Trattoria & Pizzeria has great service, food, and atmosphere! We visited on a Friday night and the two of us were able to be seated right away. They had live music serenading us which made the evening so romantic. The food was to die for, and the wine was reasonably priced. This made for one of the best date nights we've had in a while - we will definitely be back!

Quick notes - it is a small restaurant, so if you come with a group, I would definitely call ahead.
They also allow you to bring your own wine for a corkage fee, so that is also an option.“

“NY transplant always looking for great pizza in LA and I don’t know why there isn’t a line out the door here. Different from NY pizza due to the chewy sourdough crust but the square pie is unlike any pizza I ever tasted. Round pie is excellent too.

I’m a true pizza lover, and I honestly don’t mind driving an hour from San Fernando Valley just to enjoy their food. You can feel the love and care in every detail, from the packaging to their communication on social media. It’s clear how much they love what they do and how much they care about their customers. It’s really a privilege to taste their pizza. I’m eating mine right now, taking small bites because I don’t want it to end. Honestly, there’s no better pizza in Los Angeles. “Pizza was excellent! Crunchy crust. Very generous with the toppings, unlike some places. It's pretty much a takeout place, While there is seating, it's pretty much an afterthought. If they want to encourage dining there, they could certainly make the dining room more inviting with some simple, inexpensive upgrades. (Like loose the XMAS decorations and Santas. It's almost March, replace the burned-out light bulbs in the chandeliers, red-checked tablecloths on the tables, don't store supplies in the dining room or where visible from it. Some type of partition around the order counter would help).“

“Talk about OG. This place has been around and it shows. Old western like memorabilia and brick seating. Pizza is spot on with crust that is thick and crispy right out of the oven. They have a bar area for ordering drinks. You can just get a pitcher of modelo while you wait. They have an all you can fit on a plate salad bar and some arcade games for kids. Their meatball sub is fantastic too with great crispy but soft bread. Cannot go wrong with the place. Parking is tough but manageable even on street.“

“Petramale Pizza is a hidden gem in LA! So happy to have heard about this spot because Steve's pizza is not only the tastiest I've had in LA so far, but the man himself is a joy to be around. I'd highly recommend the Margaroni.

Petramale pops up in a church parking lot every Friday which also makes for a fun vibe, especially in the late afternoons/evenings. It is a must try for any Angeleno and I can't wait to return!“

“BEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTH BAY! My boyfriend introduced me to this little gem a few years ago and I can honestly say any other pizza I try since doesn't come close to the amazing taste that Jack's pizza makes. We're lucky enough to live 3 minutes away from this place, so we usually pick up and bring the pie home, but it's always piping hot and perfection every time. I honestly don't go anywhere else for pizza since my first bite of Jack's pizza, and I can pretty much guarantee you won't either. This place has been around for a long long time, I think somewhere around the 80's and I hope they stay around making magic in the kitchen for many years to come. A sincere thanks to all the staff at Jack's! Stay awesome and don't change!“

“I was but a youngin’ when I first came to this place, and the pizza is just as delicious as it was back then. Although Bonello’s may look unassuming from the outside, I would liken it to a geode— a hidden, sparkling gem that never fails to satisfy your hunger cravings!

Naturally, I visited here today with my good comrade, whom I met on the battlefield. I would gladly bleed out in this restaurant, taking my final breath in such a place of comfort and nostalgia. But I’ve still got some years in me yet… so that won’t happen for a while!

“Before coming to try their pizzas I made a list of 6 possible slices I would like to try just in case they were out of a few.

When I arrived they had everything! Amazing to me they had all pizzas available but it did make it hard for me to narrow down my choices lol

They were all friendly & patient explaining each slice.

I ended up choosing the Fourway, Popeyes, and Marinated BBQ Chicken. The slices were big and it took me two times to eat it all!

They each were rich in flavor & had their own distinctive taste. I am very impressed & sad they are not local to me.

“Loved the place. It's a little hole in the wall in the center north of World Market. We were happy to find a new pizza place that has good Gluten-free pizza. We ate outside and enjoyed the sunshine. To our surprise, they offer a discount to heros which cover: police officers, military personnel, firefighters, nurses, and teachers. I'm sure I missed some, but its nice to be appreciated. 😊 If you love thin crust, definitely go check it out.“

“The servers ask if you have any allergies and then mark the menu to cross out anything you can't eat, and what they can modify so you can eat it. I have an allium intolerance which is very annoying because it's in a lot of dishes. The marked menu ensured I didnt have to guess and there were no unwanted surprises. “Food was served fast, hot and ready! But we never felt rushed. We had a great server who knew the menu well, made great recommendations and gave us great service. I went with a party of 6 the night before a photoshoot with a few of our college ambassadors and it was the perfect vibe. Not too fancy and not too casual, tucked in a center just off a busy street in Marina Del Rey. Lots of parking and easy to get in and out of. The food was delicious and portioned well for sharing. I would definitely take a group here again.“
