“I don’t give many places 5 stars but this one deserves it. We got a whole Stay Loose and a slice of the Fiin’n to Fire and both were exceptional. I hate pineapple on pizza but combined with the other toppings it was salty, sweet, crispy and spicy when you add the house made hot sauce. The hazy IPA was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. We’ll be back.“

“Hosted a 40 people surprise party at GameCraft and I have never worked with a better brewery!!

Their small team of 4 were super accommodating to our requests, even though they were busy all day, and the drinks were BOMB (props to the brewmaster).

We were pleasantly surprised that they had a nerd market that day AND karaoke at 7 pm.
Even though we only booked for 3 hours and was planning to barhop after the event, we all stayed until closing cuz it was such a great place to just chill the night away.

“My family and I have been customers of this place for over 20 years. There is no better place in Santa Ana (or Orange County for that matter) for a good old-fashioned birria. It is cooked to perfection. I came today after a couple of years, and they have simply not lost their magic touch. The same staff from years ago making the same delicious recipe. “Salty Bear in Costa Mesa is a really chill spot with a relaxed vibe and friendly staff. The atmosphere is great for hanging out with friends, and the prices are fair for both drinks and food. I love the overall energy of the place, it feels casual and welcoming. The only downside is that the tables and booths are pretty uncomfortable and not very sturdy, which makes it hard to fully relax and enjoy a long visit. Still, it’s a great spot overall, and I’ll definitely be back for the good vibes and solid value.“

“We went here yesterday with our team, and everything was fantastic! The restaurant has its own brewery with big tanks where they brew their beers, and the IPAs were excellent.

Our server, Gil, was super nice and helpful. He arranged a long table for our whole group so we could sit comfortably and hang out. He also gave us great recommendations , I tried the Ginger Salmon with rice and quinoa, and it was very tasty, healthy, and perfectly cooked. For appetizers, I ordered the Ahi Tuna with tortillas, which I really enjoyed since I’m trying to eat healthy. We also tried a few other appetizers that everyone liked.

My co-workers had a mix of burgers and sandwiches, and everyone said their food was delicious. They don’t serve vodka (only beer and wine), but they were kind enough to bring me hot water with lemon since I asked for tea.

After dinner, we sat outside on the patio by the fireplace, enjoying the sunset and the beautiful sky , such a relaxing way to end the evening. Parking was easy too, with spots in front of the restaurant and plenty more in the nearby shopping center.

Overall, a great experience with amazing food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend it! 🍽🍻“

“Chihuahua Cerveza is a total hidden gem in Costa Mesa. The vibe is laid-back, the service is great, and the food absolutely delivers. Their quesadilla is hands down the best around — perfectly grilled, cheesy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and it’s the kind of dish you think about long after you leave.

The drinks are crisp and refreshing, and it’s a perfect spot to hang with friends, grab a beer, and enjoy good food in a fun atmosphere. Every visit feels easy and enjoyable.

If you are anywhere near Costa Mesa, do yourself a favor and get the quesadilla at Chihuahua Cerveza. It is unbeatable.“

“I wasn't impressed. The food was just so so and kinda bland. So disappointed in the cornbread. I live in the south so maybe its a southern thing to have amazing cornbread with bbq. This is all subject to my own opinion of course. Everyone has different taste buds and someone else could have totally enjoyed it. Ithis placr just wasn't for me..

“I go for the food....their food is delicious. Highly Highly recommend the wings (mangocart habanero)...brussels....stuffed jalapeños....spinach artichoke dip. The bar staff are not always super friendly....very hit or miss, but the food is something I cannot stay away from!!“

“I got there early before a game against the Rangers. That's the best time to go because its not so busy. I think the food is better early. Later into the game it gets to crowded and the food is not so temperature hot. Its my brothers favorite spot in the stadium. I don't agree with him. The beer was cold though.“
