16 Best Chicken Restaurants near Imperial Beach

“Nice place to dine in and take out. Once in a while they do forgot certain things from your order but shoutout to Carlo their drive thru guy, always on top of it and always making sure you have everything for your dinner. We always find the dining area clean when we dine in.“

“I love crack shack. I was born n raised in San Diego but moved to Memphis where I learned what good fried chicken is. This is the fried chicken spot in Southern California. Fire nugs+fries+pickles you can not go wrong. The bar tender is really awesome and the food is seasoned perfectly. Really good desserts as well.“

“I love that food taste good fresh“

“I’ve always loved Jollibee because it’s more than fried chicken—it’s a little taste of home. The juicy, crispy Chickenjoy, the familiar flavors, and that warm Filipino hospitality have always taken me straight down memory lane to the Philippines. 🇵🇭❤️ That’s why it’s disappointing to see the San Antonio location slowly lose what makes Jollibee special. Lately, the service feels disorganized and slow, the quality seems inconsistent, and that warm Filipino welcome and atmosphere seem to be disappearing. On my most recent visit, I even received only 5 pieces of chicken when I ordered 6. Jollibee shouldn’t feel like just another busy fast-food chain. The Filipino warmth, hospitality, pride, and quality are part of the brand—and just as important as the Chickenjoy. I’m sharing this not simply to complain, but because we love Jollibee and want this location to do better. Please bring back the quality, organization, and unmistakable Filipino spirit that made us fall in love with Jollibee in the first place. We want our Jollibee back. 🇵🇭🐝❤️“

“Delicious food for a great price! Very clean, friendly, professional service.“

“I love their chicken wrap“

“Drive thru for the famous chicken sandwich. Long wait, excellent sandwich. Lots of crunch and good flavors, but not salty. And the pickles, whoa. Finally got my chicken sandwich after 2 weeks of trying. Long lines that backed up into streets, even freeways, getting there hours too early. That’s a great sandwich.“

“Gas station Chicken. WTH? Unless you are an OTR driver or a teenager this is not the choice to make.
Hold up, pause.
Let's regroup. THIS is Amazing Chicken. OMFG this is the best tasting bird in San Diego. Why did you put it in a gas station?
Holy hell. I'm gonna be a regular.“

“mac and cheese. beans and rice. mash potatoes.“

“We been coming to this spot for years and it never fails on flavor, it has great quality but we kept seeing a pattern. This particularly location is reduced in space so we dont recommend dining in if you are more than 4 people if you wish to eat comfortable. When we come here, is usually during dawn and weekends so the lines can go all the way outside, on top of that you need to wait an additional of 20 minutes or more so to avoid this, I highly recommend to order ahead, but none of this removes the amazing quality of the food! This is just some details for those who prefer dine in.“

“My favorite mall eveer, I looove to shop and eat here!! I come here since I was a kid 🫰🏻“

“Food was good and fresh. Restaurant was cleaned. Customer service could be improved . It wasn't bad but employee were not greeting customers. There was no one at the register. Missing napkins and plastic ware from order. it could be that they were under staffed.“
