“This place is the diamond among the rough. Ambient atmosphere. CLEAN, and yummiest food. A small menu is a good sign so I was feeling positive about this place and I was not disappointed. My guests and I ordered different dishes and shared the shrimp skewers appetizer. EVERYTHING was outstanding. There is a lot of effort to marry flavors and seasoning and they do a great job of it. You can't go wrong with any item on their menu. The cocktails were perfect and the Tiramisu was excellent. I am not a big Tiramisu fan, so for me to eat Tiramisu and enjoy it immensely is quite a feat. I am looking forward to returning to this location. The warmth, patience and knowledge of Chris in helping us choose our dishes was absolutely perfect.“

“This place has great customer service even during a packed World Cup game. This is our neighborhood bar and we’ve rarely if ever had a bad experience.

Disregard the previous review that was freaking out about the chairs. It happened right in front of us and the person was just there to look at their phone, not watch the game, not engage with the other patrons, nothing. It came off as entitled and sad. “As a regular who has been hitting the Torrance taproom since year one in 2011 Ive Been a huge fan of Smog City and they are still the best spot in Torrance for a solid pour. Their tap list is completely inclusive, making it just as easy for a beginner to find a gateway beer like Smog Czech Lager or Lil Bo Pils and for a seasoned enthusiast to find a heavy-hitting IPA like Amarilla Gorilla. Also, a quick shoutout to their new Mo-Del-Ish lager—it is honestly amazing. I’m crossing my fingers they decide to make it a year-round staple instead of just a seasonal drop! Honestly if you been thinking about getting into the craft game Smog City is you!“

There are games galore. We happened upon them while in the area today, but would absolutely make the 80 mile trek back that way just to visit this brewery again.“

“Brewco Social absolutely nailed it! We came here with two families, 8 of us total, before heading down to the beach, and from the moment we walked in, we felt completely welcomed. The location is unbeatable literally steps from the Manhattan Beach boardwalk, so it’s the perfect place to grab a great meal before hitting the sand.

The service was fantastic. The two girls taking our orders were smiling, friendly, and patient, while the guys were constantly moving around making sure every table was taken care of. It was one of those places where you could tell the entire team was working together like a well oiled machine.

And the bartender deserves a shout-out because he absolutely knew what he was doing! We started with a triple, went to a double, and finished with a single and every drink was on point. 😂

Now the food… WOW. My smash burger was absolutely incredible. Juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Honestly one of the juiciest smash burgers I’ve had. The kids loved their meals, and the wives were very happy with their salads, so somehow everyone at the table left happy.

The atmosphere was another huge plus. The whole place is beautiful and has that upscale, polished feeling you’d expect from a high-end restaurant in Beverly Hills, but without feeling stuffy or pretentious. It has a really great Manhattan Beach vibe.

5 stars all day. Great location, great food, great drinks, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. You guys are doing it right, keep up the good work! We’ll definitely be back.“

“We had such a great time at Five Point Five Brewing! We came with our 3 year old and 1 year old, along with two friends, and it was the perfect place for everyone. The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and they even have a kids area where our 3 year old had a great time playing.

We also had the chance to meet Michelle and her family, which made the experience feel even more special. You can really tell that this is a family owned business and that they care about creating a place where everyone feels welcome.

“We had a few beers there and loved it. Simple hidden gem in the Gundo on a not well traveled side street off grand ave. Not big, (6 big tables up front) but great beer for $8 or so. Also, a nice back area for more private gatherings.
