This place has great customer service and it is just a great place to chill.
This is a little gem in a corner at the UTC. It's not crowded because most people are going to In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A and maybe the habit down the street. But if you haven't had the smashburger then you don't know what you're missing. My son and I started going here because the burger was really good. It looks like a homemade patty and it's thick. Jack In The Box at UTC offers a gem of a smashburger, with a homemade patty that rivals those at Islands. Despite being near UCI, it's not crowded like neighboring spots. The sauteed onions are a standout, and the quality compensates for the slightly higher prices. The clean restaurant near the University in Irvine has friendly staff, though it can be a bit understaffed. The service is excellent, and the food has improved over time, making Jack In The Box a pleasant surprise for customers.
