“Food was good. However, the prices are on the higher end for the amount of food they provide. The dining area is very calm and relaxing. Not many people when I was there around 5pm.

Happy Hour is Daily from 4:30pm to 6pm.“

“Living in the boonies of San Diego Co has benefits…(no traffic jams)…but few awesome perks…(like Tiki bars!!) Luckily the gods aligned, in Orange Co, and our last stop was the Stowaway. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! We are definitely going back…VERY soon!!!! Thanks so much for everything, WILL!!“

“A great place to go retro to the age of train travel. And, its aside the RR tracks from LA to Oceanside and San Diego. Restaurant and bar have outside seating along the tracks but you can sit inside and still see the trains pass by. Some stop as its also a train stop (Orange). Our lunch was great. Served so hot had to let our reuben and hamberger cool a bit. Large menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Full bar.

Got time to kill. Cross the street to the free Hilbert Museum of pastels, watercolors, oil, and a collection of early portable radios too?“

“Just a nice hang to sip a beer or my favorite cocktail. Friendly staff and not bad on the eyes either. New chef came in and upped their food game. I believe I heard he’s from a local brewery. I highly recommend the sticky ribs. See you at Happy Hour 😋“

“Carthay Circle Lounge was our favorite restaurant during our Disneyland trip. It was so good that we ate their twice! We loved the Vietnamese lettuce wraps the bao buns, and the Sparkling Mare cocktail was delicious. We had a reservation the first time and did a walk up for the second visit.“

“We were doing some shopping nearby and decided to get lunch there after reviewing the menu. The restaurants follows the CDC covid-19 guidelines by limiting indoor dining, but have outdoor dining tables that allowing social distancing. We try the banh beo and the fish noodle soup. The broth was very delicious and authentic. The diluted fish sauce that came with the banh beo was very tasty. Staff service is ok. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed the food. I would recommend this restaurant if you would like to try authentic Vietnmese food in the central region.“

“Had a great experience here. The view was unreal and really calming. The food was really good and filling, and the service was just as great. My server Jay was awesome and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. From the moment I walked in, everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Will definitely be back here again, hopefully soon.“

“The food here is awesome. The vibe is pretty great too. It was a bit empty when we came for a 6:30 dinner, but they were setting up a band for later. Only downside is the road noise, but otherwise a perfect evening. We ordered hummus, fried mushrooms, lamb kebab, and beef combo kebab. Super tasty, and very tender and juicy meats. Definitely will come back!“

“This is the find of the decade! Virtually hidden on a tiny street adjacent to the Coast Highway, the eclectic, artistic interior is as welcoming as the attentive and super friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor dining options, comfy furniture, a hip buzzy adjacent bar lets you know immediately you are in for a uniquely Newport Beach experience that you won’t want to leave. But all of this is nothing compared to the cuisine. The wide variety of ostensibly Middle Eastern menu items are comprehensive to meet virtually any dietary needs from vegan to Ketovore, but the competency across the board is astounding!! Lentil soup, yellow veggie curry, kabob, steak Diane - everything shines on its own merit. I planned to have one of the divine sounding desserts but alas, the portions were so generous that we had to take a rain check. Here’s hoping for a downpour!“

“Cool spot, came here on a Monday looking for a place that stays open late, this place blew my expectations for a regular bar, we had a DJ playing house music, the strobe ball was cool, great low lit ambience, felt like a goth bar with a modern kick to it, booth seating was comfy and spacious. Drinks acceptable, had a few beers on tap and Espresso Martini, this is now my mid week go to spot. Definitely will come back.“

“It's five stars for doing exactly what it's supposed to be. Beers are $5 and the girls are nice. It's straight forward and they don't try to con you for a few extra bucks. This is not a karaoke bar nor is it good for people who aren't fluent in “

“Enjoyed a side of breakfast sausages and bacon. Sausages were a good size and had a little spice/pepper... Just the right amount. Bacon was crispy & nice and salty.Ordered both at the aMuse restaurant inside the Marriott, but cost wise it's better to pay for the buffet (which is in a separate room). The only downside for the buffet is the sausage/bacon/ham rotates each day.Nice service, clean and bright space.“

“The room is very spacious and the food is very good. This restaurant is in a plaza so there is a lot of parking for cars. The waiter is very fun and lively to talk to. The interesting part about this restaurant is that there is a karaoke stage for those who wants to sing in front of the restaurant so definitely recommend to bring friends along for karaoke dinner party. 10/10 would come back here again“

“Don’t sleep on the food here. Very tasty! Service could use a little improvement but it wasn’t bad by any means. Just lack of food menu knowledge, lack of wine menu knowledge, and minor service errors that didn’t match the high quality food. Apps were great! Really enjoyed the Ahi Stack and the Loaded Fries. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Chipotle lime corn and brussel sprout sides were good. Parker rolls paired great with the steaks. Dessert menu left a lot to be desired. Underwhelming. We went elsewhere for dessert. We will be back. I recommend giving it a try.“

“Worth stopping here. Great burgers and fries. Wife had mango jicama salad very nice but a little chunky. Cool space both inside and out. We could watch games if we wanted but the TVs are not invasive. Service was excellent. Giant pretzel is a hoot (and tasty).“
