“French onion soup was absolutely delicious and we also got a side of fries. We took advantage of happy hour which made it awesome and the drinks are really cheap but because of the holiday it was extremely packed and I felt so bad for the bartenders because they just could not keep upon New Year’s. They had one bartender. Be prepared though you are going to be paying $20 for a burger.“

“It was a great experience. We showed up without making a reservation , they told us it would be an hour wait . I went ahead and made a reservation online and was able to be seated within 30 min. When we got there parking was valet service. There's nowhere else really to park so you have to do the valet parking.. the food was absolutely delicious. My bf and I shared “Sabor a Casa” -45$ and it had everything we wanted and more. We couldn't even finish the plate. To fulfill my sweet tooth I got a horchata espresso hot latte . Hit the spot. The vibes were there and service was friendly and welcoming. They handled the rush of people very well.“

“Came for my moms birthday 🎂. The atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious. The coffee ☕️ has the perfect amount of canela. They gave my mom a complimentary flan for her birthday and played las mananitas over the speaker. Service was timely. Definitely recommend. You must try. 😁“

Between Jose and Alejandra, I’ve always been taken care of. I celebrated my birthday here not that long ago after testing the consistency and have kept coming back. “We live closer to the location off El Toro Rd, but the Newport Blvd location has Taco Tuesday. Both have excellent food (all days of the week), excellent service, excellent atmosphere. We never have a complaint. The physical quality of the chips is random, sometimes not warm-hot and sometimes not crisp, but always good tasting, never old. If the only thing I can mention is the chips, then the place is worth our visits a couple times per month.“

“My favorite mex food spot right now and its down the street from where i work. I go on Tuesdays as their tacos are $1.49, 1.99 other. Absolutely delicious Asada tacos everytime. Very tasty salsas from the salsa bar as well. Dont let the outside appearance fool you either. its very large and spacious inside.

update : they increased prices on everything. so that sucks. still great food, but hard to go there all the time now when on a budget.“

“The best lunch tostada ever! Filled with a large helping of chicken which was cooked in a wonderful sauce. with refried beans in the bottom of the eatable tostada bowl. A huge helping of both sour cream and the most delicious guacamole. Beautifully presented with super service., great chips and salsa, Lovely ambiance. Came home "stuffed".“
