Paul Martin's American Grill at Irvine Spectrum is a superb American restaurant with an extensive menu and delicious food. The interior is beautifully decorated with a large entrance area and plenty of seating, and the bar has a few small TVs to watch sporting events. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a great place for any celebration or date night. The restaurant offers a farm-to-table American menu that is a reliable go-to for business lunches or client dinners, with consistent quality and a professional atmosphere. For Happy Hour, the Hoisin ribs were tender and tasty, and the Street Tacos (chicken) were good, though the Steelhead salmon sandwich was just okay and needed more seasoning. The sweet potato fries are really good. Some guests noted the artichoke salad came with full eggs instead of egg whites as stated, and the lemonade was very sour. Overall, it is a solid staple reflecting the Irvine dining scene's growing culinary sophistication.
