“Food is consistent. The last time we were here was pre-covid.

The ordering system takes a few trys to get used to, but this gentleman, Jesus made sure everything went smoothly.

On top of the food being delicious, Jesus, and his team made sure our experience here was top notch.

Edit: Prior to visiting pre-covid, we popped in last week and was helped by Marie. She was the reason why we wanted to dine in, again.

Then Jesus took the customer service to the next level.

“Awesome pub on campus. Great bar food such as burgers, “stoner” fries with carne asada, nachos etc.. great kombucha beer options on tap as well as ciders.. also huge beer selection as well.
Great place to get together with friends or have some food and study. Bartenders are really nice.“

“Wow, great tacos! That was my first thought when I bit into my Carnitas taco.

I wanted something from a local family run Place and this fit the bill. The Carnitas taco were tinged with lime which made it amazing. Although the tacos are small they are stuffed with meat, very filling. I also got the Al pastor and the barbacoa. I tasted the other two but only ate one. The barbacoa was OK but it wasn’t my favorite, but very juicy. ($2.75/taco cash)

I loved that they gave me a bag of chips in my to go order. The salsa is a fresh chunky salsa and quite spicy. I don’t like the pureed type salsa because I don’t think it usually has a good flavor. I was happy with the fresh chunky style they serve.

This is definitely a hole in the wall. It was very busy at lunchtime. Coming up to the building it looks quite grubby but I pushed past that knowing that I had great ratings. I’m glad I did. It’s definitely not an updated, well kept restaurant but the food was great. I met a family who said they’ve been coming for years and love the food.

If you want mom and pop Place it seems to be very popular with good prices, check this place out.“

“Carne Asada was more like carne molida (ground beef). It was tasty but it didn't feel high quality. I ordered Carne Asada burrito + guacamole ($18) and I could barely find guacamole or Carne asada. Tacos were so muchhhh better- stuffed with Carne and guacamole ($7 each) . Much better deal to just get tacos unless you want mostly tortilla and rice as your burrito.“

My friend says their lengua is the best he’s ever had.
Since this inside North Gate, depending on the time of day/week, it might be much busier and/or harder to find seating. We had to sit somewhere in the market that wasn’t nearby“

“I visited Adam's Tacos tonight (formerly Tacos Manuel) to pick up tacos for the family and had a great experience. Adam was very friendly and gave me some recommendations to bring home. We had the carne asada, carnitas, al pastor, cabeza, and lengua tacos. Everything had great flavor - our favorite was the carne asada. We loved the grilled onions! Not sure how they're seasoned, but they were good! Also, the prices were very reasonable. My experience with food trucks has been that they are generally overpriced. Not the case at Adam's Tacos. We fed our family of 5 under $40 which is not very common these days. If you're looking for good tacos in the area, I'd recommend you give this place a shot.“

“Food was delicious and service was fast. Only outdoor seating and walk up window to order. Perfect spot to grab a bite before the pageant of the masters about 10 minute walk from there! Steak Street Tacos beans and rice were excellent. A little disappointed they had run out of the jerk chicken. We will have to go back to try it!“

“Been coming here for years since i was a little girl where they first began on the corner off civic center & fairview , now located on Bristol & first street behind a shopping center , it’s amazing how i got close to the owner as now knows my husband and I and the lovely ladys as well , they already know us by the usual we always get !! Which are the Street Hot Dogs as we toss in some green salsa and it hits the spot !! Especially homemade avena for the cold weather!! Of course we have tried the rest of the menu and it doesn’t disappoints!!“

“This is one of my favorite taco spots in Santa Ana. The tacos are soo good. Their salsas are delicious.

They have a nice assortment of drinks along with a nice selection of meats. Their meats are well cooked and seasoned so deliciously.

I can only eat chicken and am often disappointed with chicken tacos since they often lack flavor or are cooked poorly but this place is far from a disappointment. I love coming here time and time again.

There aren't any tables just chairs to sit at. You can also order your plate to go. You can also call to place your order in advance.“

“Been to la Fortuna a couple times and it does not dissapoint. I normally go late at night after work and it hits the spot. They have a variety of meats to choose from and I've tried them all. I like that I'm allowed to have an open tab "cuenta abierta" and keep on ordering tacos. I would say my favorite meats are : cesina, cabeza, asada, suadero, and tripa. I love all their salsas too, they have two greens and one red.(the best is the light green salsa). These tacos melt in your mouth and are the perfect bite size. Give them a try.“
