I asked my waitress to surprise me and she collaborated with the cook and I was pleasantly surprised. “My husband and I were passing through the town and decided to stop by and give it a try. It is such a cute, warm, cozy coffee spot. Very nice and friendly service. We had little kids with us and we loved how they provided a small kids table with drawing pads. The inside decor was very inviting. Lastly our food and drinks were delicious, definitely a great place to stop for coffee and food.“

“I have been here for coffee a few times before but have never sat down and enjoyed a cuppa with soup. I wanted to work on my photography website in town, so I decided to come to Roadhouse Coffee for lunch. It was Valentine's Day, and they were serving some special drinks that day. I chose their large hot chai tea with raspberry, which was sooo good. I wish it weren't strictly a Valentine's Day drink as I would get it again. Their soup of the day was a chicken tortilla soup and that was good with a bit of heat as well. Please note that soup is a seasonal menu item from fall to spring. You order at the front and I was served at my table pretty quickly. They also had a few local stickers for sale, and I grabbed 2 for $5. I opted to sit outside as there were already a few people sitting around inside. They also had the heater on and I preferred the cold mountain air, but the inside is cozy and has a good amount of tables. I did not use the wifi as I was using the hotspot on my phone and have Verizon, which is pretty fast in Pine Grove (5G in some areas). Overall a cute little place to relax or do some work (and watch the vehicles going up and down the 88 if you sit outside). I would love to come back to enjoy more soup and bring my laptop again.“

“Had lunch here yesterday. With the views out the windows of the beautiful California foothills, covered in green grass and poppies, it was a beautiful experience. We sat where we could see the lake and the fisherman coming and going. Missy was our server and she kept our drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed from the beginning. Missy is an excellent server and made us feel special. I ordered the lunker which is a 1/3 pound burger and I added mushrooms and blue cheese. Yum! Had a salad with mine, but the hubby The tater tots, which is one of their specialties with his patty melt, the tater tots are cooked to perfection, made us feel like kids again! Great experience, as usual!“

“Love this old building with a rich history in Sutter Creek! Service was efficient. Food is always good here. We had the quiches and both were delicious. Their brewed coffee is as good as their mixed coffee drinks. We would definitely go again as it is smack dab in the middle of Sutter Creek where we like to shop when we visit.“
