“We love this place and have stopped in for an incredible cappuccino and sometimes breakfast a few times. The staff are very friendly and I can't recommend the coffee more. We love the fresh pastries and the breakfast burritos are solid. Avocado on toast is super yummy but I'd love 2 pieces.“

“STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun place for a drink, nosh, and hang. We were looking for a place to catch a UCLA football game while in the area and this place came up as a promising choice. Located on the main drag in June Lake Village, it's a good-sized casual bar. You can also get food from the pizza place June Pie next door. We bellied up to the bar and the friendly bartender obligingly found the game for us, but they get their sports via YouTube, which wasn't the most convenient system, but it eventually worked out. This is not a dedicated sports bar, so your mileage may vary. That said, it was a comfortable place to hang out, drink, and eat a delicious margherita pizza. And we got to see our game so I'd say it was a success overall.“

“Just can’t beat it! Must be some of best views from any lodge in the country. Great beer and cocktail offerings with the cafeteria right next to it. Typical ski resort prices but good local folk working and keeping the vibes strong! Great small mountain feel.“

“All was good until we split the bill into three. One of us gave cash tip of 20 dollars cuz that’s the only cash we had Jill got very upset making her remark “That’s all I get on a 300 dollar bill with an angry face. Well everyone else was leaving a tip added to there debit cards. She should have looked before making her remarks. No one is obligated to leaving a tip. A tip is left when someone is extra happy with the service. And we’re treated well. Which we were until the tip problem happened.“

“I’m taking this time to write a review since my family and I were very happy and thankful for the wonderful experience we had during our stay in Mammoth. From the time I made a reservation until we checked out, it was all a breeze. We were taken care of very well and never had an issue of any sort. The Obsidian is definitely a luxury property worth spending for if you have at least 9 family members joining the trip. My kids checked in at Juniper Springs hotel and they loved it as well. Thanks to Tomas for picking the best unit for us and for Harry for checking in with me even after our stay. We will for sure come back soon.“

“Very convenient being right next to Mammoth Mountain. A good spot to go to for lunch or after a full day of snowboarding or skiing. Service was very fast and the vibe of the place is homey. Food was great, I had a roast beef sandwich paired with an adult S'mores hot chocolate. Broccoli and cheese soup was great as well. Thanks once again Yodler restaurant!“

“The Mill is a great stop to get a bite to eat or have a drink at their bar . I enjoy sitting by the fire pit and enjoying my margarita with a view. I'm not gonna elaborate of prices of the food on the mountain ($$$) because you really don't have many choices. On some of the weekends when we came here there is a dj spinning, which adds to the atmosphere.“

“One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is simply amazing, the atmosphere/ambiance is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. I did not expect the Shepard's Pie to taste so good, highly recommend. There isn't too much parking here, so most spots might be filled. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor, by the way.“

“I've stayed here many times over the years. It's totally Alpen kitsch, but I love it. If you're looking for the fancy experience next to shopping and trendy restaurants, don't stay here. Stay lower down the mountain in The Village. This place is classic CA, and It's one of the only hotels with a real bar and restaurant where the food is actually good and large. The rooms aren't fancy, but they aren't small. Also, they are each slightly different. Location is great for the mountain sports: across the parking lot from Canyon Lodge. While you can't ski out, many seasons you can practically ski in.“
