“So I just have to say a month ago I got a pizza 🍕 from pogos and it was burnt 😞 but they contacted me after my review and made right on it! Pizza tonight was amazing and their customer service is spot on! If you anyone is in kelseyville I recommend stopping by and grabbing a pizza or two 😜“

“Simply put, the best place to eat in Lake County for a fine dining experience. The seasonal veggies are fresh and prepared perfectly. The filet mignon is the best steak I’ve had since the Buckhorn and the Firehouse. It melted in my mouth. The crab cakes to start were amazing. Perfect crisp outside and great filling! We were lucky enough to be at Park Place for Valentine’s Day and although busy, we had wonderful service, great food and a great ambiance. We left better for the dinner we had and happy as can be. :) we have decided this is our new monthly spot.“

“I ordered the Vegetable Deluxe and asked for a szechuan sauce and they altered the dish for me. It was delicious. The sauce was not sweet, nor too spicy. The veggies were fresh, varied and were stir fried just right- still a tiny bit crisp. I was as so delighted.
The atmosphere is subdued, not too much lighting, but I prefer this to the “daylight bright”. (I appreciate the energy conservation as well.) In full disclosure, I did not eat in. I ordered to go at the restaurant and sat and waited for it.
The person who took my order was pleasant and efficient. I watched as she fielded phone calls for to go orders. As the kitchen door swung open, I could peek in, it was bright and clean.
The food came out quickly. I walked the 15 minutes back to my hotel and the food was hot and tasty.“

“Reading these reviews, and "peer reviews" for other local restaurants, helps explain why Lakeport is such a tough market to serve. The locals express angst over price and menu, while tourists demand in-your-face wait service even at peak hours. Staring at the lake for an hour with a cocktail in hand is a great way to set more reasonable expectations.“

“First time my husband and I tried this place. everyone said the pizza was good so I thought I'd try it. pizza was tasty and the right amount of sauce when ordered lite sauce... only thing was the crust was a little to well done. crunchy like burnt toast . nearly chipped a tooth but overall an enjoyable experience“

A couple things were due to be replaced, but all in all the food from the buffet was wonderful! Not as large as what I'm used to in the bay area as a kid, but definitely still a favorite, kids were happy too!
