“What a great set up this little food truck has!!! One of the best carnitas tacos I’ve ever had. We really enjoyed sitting outside under the awning and enjoying this for lunch. I think it is also cool that they have indoor seating as well.

“I enjoyed my shrimp tacos. They bring you chips and salsa, which is a small portion then they charge you $2 on your bill when you get it? So in other words, you don’t have a choice unless you tell them next time you’re there that you don’t want the chips in case you don’t. That was a little strange that they charge you automatically. A little overpriced. Other than those 2 things (being automatically charged for chips and a little overpriced), everything was fine.“

“The food here was DELICIOUS! The chorizo con huevo and the carnitas plate was what me and my boyfriend ordered!! The chorizo had a unique taste with a good little kick to it! The carnitas were perfectly cooked and had a perfect texture to it! Nice and soft on the inside and a good crunch on the outside and the salsas!! QUE RICO!!“

“Stopped by for lunch and got an asada burrito and horchata. Service was fast and polite, 5 stars all the way. Burrito was fantastic, flavors were excellent.

What stood out for me was the horchata. Very good and refreshing on a 100°+ day.

“When I think of consistently great food, I think of Lila's. The staff are responsive and helpful, the space is extremely clean and organized with booths and tables. The chef makes the food within plain view which is awesome. This place hasnt stayed in business for over 20 years without fully earning it.

The “team” kept us “hydrated” and “satisfied”!! Margaritas, frozen or on the rocks, served with an orange slice!! Our favorite was “the Cadillac” !! I don’t think you can go “wrong”! Shhh… did I mention, HAPPY HOUR M-F 11-5!! ( only house marg. At HH price) Guacamole, my favorite dip!! This guacamole has perfect seasoning!! The shrimp cocktail gets the highest star rating at our table; for presentation, chefs “secret” flavor and savory to us all!! A “newbie” to eating cactus!! Yes, a must try, if you have never eaten it. Add a touch of salt!! I would definitely recommend! As far as would I come back? We came two days in a row!“

We were tourists in Sonoma just looking for some decent Mexican food. This place didn't disappoint. Right down to the heat in the tamale that practically has my teen drooling from spicy heat. She was a trooper and endured the heat. The ordering was a little challenging at the counter, but the food came out well enough and the service very friendly. Glad we found it! “The carne asada & carnitas tacos here are better than El Roy's! I like El Roy's for their salsa, but Tacos El Manteca serves the best tasting pork/carnitas in the bay area.

The ingredients here are always fresh and the food always tastes really good. The employees here do a great job.

Birria is available Fridays Saturdays and sometimes Sundays I think? Availability varies, so it's always a good idea to ask to be sure. The birria is pretty tasty here too.

“They make their own tacos from the masa. Most places pull em outta the plastic bag. They do my breakfast burrito exactly how I ask and throw in some roasted Serranos for me. Guy at the front gets a lotta grief in these reviews, but he’s always very nice to me, he’s just not all fake Chick-Filet-my-pleasure nonsense. Just a chill dude. Salsa is super tasty but also super hawt — be careful! I am a Tourguide and send all my customers here because it’s real deal.
