Every staff member we encountered was kind and professional, but I have to give special recognition to Royce, who took care of our table. He grilled the meat to absolute perfection and made our experience even more enjoyable with his thoughtful and friendly conversations.

“We had the most incredible dining experience at Cheong Wun BBQ Buffet Restaurant! From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with warm smiles and unparalleled hospitality. The cozy, vintage vibe of the place immediately made us feel at home.

The food selection was absolutely top-notch—every bite was a journey through authentic Korean flavors. The marinated beef, spicy chicken wings, and tender ribs were simply divine, and the banchan (side dishes) added an exquisite balance to the meal. The highlight? The attentive staff not only served us but also helped grill the meats to perfection, offering tips on how to enjoy the full burst of flavors with lettuce wraps, bean paste, and other condiments. The seaweed soup at the end was the perfect comforting finish!

Service here is beyond exceptional. The staff, especially the kind ajumma, treated us like family, making sure our table was never empty and that we had everything we needed. It’s clear they take pride in every aspect of the experience they provide.

“An unassuming storefront but their meats and banchan were top-notch. We had the prime sirloin steak. It was substantial, super tender, and very tasty. Also tried their famous marinated pork ribs, which were perfectly seasoned, with a balanced sweetness to bring out the flavour of the meat… don’t forget to dip it in the sesame oil and sea salt!

The service was excellent. Our server was very kind, efficient and made sure we had all that we needed while she helped us grill our meats with a practiced hand. The banchan was fresh, with crunchy seasoned vegetables that held their flavour and vibrancy. My personal favourites were the pickled white onions and marinated beansprouts. Authentic and on-point.

On top of that, we came on New Year’s Eve and they were accommodating, patient and made it an occasion to remember with the best KBBQ we’ve had, ever. Quality we appreciated.

Parking is valet at $4 as of NYE 2024.

I was so full that when I got out of the restaurant, I couldn’t stand and I had to sit down for like a minute because I’m not used to eating so much food at once. “We went on a Friday night. Sat on the patio since it was a nice evening. We did not understand why there was only one waiter for the 7 seated tables. Then a large party (over 20 people) were seated outside near us. Our poor waiter was doing his best, with a smile on his face, but that was so unfair to him

One waiter would come outside "to help" but only talked to the 3 tables closest to the door. Two other ladies brought food out once to some tables. Unfortunately for us, we had the one who had her fingers in our plates. So gross.

We all liked the food & banchan. But since our poor waiter was by himself and this is seemingly the in kbbq place in existence that does not have grill runners, we spent a large amount of time with burnt grill pans before we could cook more meat.“

What's Good Here
The meat is fresh and cooks up great on your table grill. They have rice paper wraps (not just lettuce!) which makes eating more fun. The servers are helpful and keep things moving.

Good to Know
There's plenty of underground parking—no street hunting needed! The restaurant is big with a comfortable waiting area, but expect about an hour wait during busy times. You can walk around nearby shops while you wait for a text.

Bottom Line
TK 92 is solid KBBQ that's worth visiting when you're hungry for grilled meat. It's good enough to return to when you're in the area, but maybe not worth a special trip across town. Go when you're nearby and the wait isn't too long!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“Recently came here as a group of three and was surprised at their price. Very affordable and have plenty of meat selections. Their presentation was not like any other AYCE places! Recommend ordering their brisket, LA short ribs, and their beef sirloin. As a side I really recommend their bean paste soup and potato pancake. The server that helped us was super friendly.
