“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“Loooved this acai bowl place! They're located in Blossom Market Hall.We got a 24 oz bowl for $16 and it was enough to share between two. I chose an acai / coconut base, with chia pudding. Both the acai and coconut layers were SO refreshing! We topped it off with every fruit selection they had, and overall it was a nice balance :)Selections for toppings are pretty standard, though other acai spots I've been to have definitely had a broader selection. They have options between peanut or almond butter, granolas, and other plant seeds.Service was quick and prompt, and there's lots of seating in the market itself!“

I forget the prices he quoted me. I think 16oz ginger shot was $20? I got 8oz. The 8oz is easily about 3 shots so I'm a happy camper. Also got a large immune system booster. I'm not a beet juice person *at all* but this wasn't bad. Tasted the OJ and carrots more than beets. So glad I found this place. I've tried misc ginger shots in the area and all have been pretty subpar. I KNEW there had to be a place out here that served amazing fresh ginger shots and I didn't have to drive all the way to Silverlake. Will be back!!“

“This place is right on the corner and I was able to park right to the left of it with the metered parking. I came mid week and in the middle of the day since it was a nice warm day. I got the ritual acai bowl with the original mix. It was a perfect combo and size to keep me going until dinner. The fruit was fresh and the peanut butter was the perfect amount for the whole bowl. The service was stupendous and I appreciated that he explained the different toppings they offered. The ambiance is chill and I definitely want to come back.“

“Never knew a shop like this existed let alone knew what Coconut jelly King was all about. We were visiting the HMART market in Arcadia and noticed the Coconut Jelly King at the Food Court. Judging by their menu they mainly specialize in drinks and jelly made with coconut but they had other items on their menu. We got the Pineapple Coconut Jelly and the double Coconut jelly to try out. They were packed in a dessert jars and refrigerated. To be clear Asian jelly is made with Agar or Arrowroot. It is not Jello which is made with gelatin derived from animals. The Pineapple Coconut Jelly had shredded Pineapple base topped with Coconut Jelly made with slightly sweetened Coconut milk. I like Pineapple I thought it would be my favorite. I liked the Double Coconut Jelly a lot more. The base was a jelly made with Coconut Water and topped with Coconut jelly made with sweetened Coconut Milk. The dessert itself was light and refreshing. The flavors were subtle but it was delicious and turned out to be my favorite. iCYMI, Coconut milk is made from steeping dried Coconut flesh and is usually sweetened for drinks or desserts. It also is used for used as a base for Curries. I just found that they have a location in Lad Vegas so I'll be stopping by soon and try some different flavors. Sorry Yelpers. “I stopped by randomly at night, and it was empty. The decor was nice and vibrant. With lots of anime stuff, which is awesome to me as an Otaku. I ordered the mango passion fruit lemonade. It was made quickly and to perfection. The level of sweetness to tartness was spot on. The lady asked me to taste it before I left to ensure I liked my drink. I told her it was perfect. “When I think of Melo Melo, I think of a homey type of feeling of comfort. Not only are their desserts both delicious and the right amount of sweetness, it reminds me of my mom and grandma making Vietnamese desserts called Che where some have coconut milk and it just gives it the right touch of creaminess to the dessert. You can feel the love that was put in with each bite. For Melo Melo, even though it’s not che, I still get that same nostalgic feeling and my heart is full (and stomach too). They have a wide range of flavors, from different fruits, to jelly, to childhood favorites like ovaltine or oreo mixed with their signature coconut jelly, and more! They just came out with a Sunset Series, the Sunset Mango Coconut, Sunset Sticky Rice Coconut, and the Sunset Durian Coconut. I also grabbed a jar of Matcha Coconut to go. I love the fact that the desserts aren’t overly sweet and get the sweetness from the fruit or mix-in. The soothing coconut cream jelly/pudding consistency makes it a dream to slurp or in my case, inhale the entire thing. Also just upon opening the jar I have instant joy from seeing it jiggle jiggle! The Sunset Mango Coconut reminds me if a mango sticky rice dessert had a baby with coconut pudding. Genius! The Sunset Sticky Rice Coconut reminds me of the glutinous purple rice vietnamese che, with the coconut cream on top. Mmmm! The Sunset Durian Coconut.. OMG.. if you are a durian lover… yes! And yes!!! For you haters out there.. It is the king of all fruit.. Only kings and queens can handle it! Jk! It tastes fresh and not rubbery as if it was frozen and thawed. The durian was creamy and custardy, and then adding another layer of texture coming from the sticky rice, and POW some velvety coconut jelly to put it all together. My absolute fave! The matcha coconut was delicious and not too strong in matcha flavor. I’ve had where matcha was so overbearing and bitter that it was difficult to enjoy. Not this one! This one was super smooth and slurpilicious! Right amount of matcha, right amount of coconut where it doesn’t overpower the green tea, great texture and enjoyable! Yes I devoured that! Basically I inhaled everything because the desserts were light and not heavy! I can totally eat this for days!!! So whoever said they don’t have room for dessert.. that’s a lie because there is room for Melo Melo!“

“Decided to treat myself to a milk tea after a run and looked up local boba shops in the area and came across Moo Tea. I got a regular milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice and it was good! The tea flavor was definitely present but not as strong as other places in the area. If you're a bit more sensitive towards sweetness in your drinks, I would stick with 25% as I found the 50% to be a bit too sweet for me. I came at around 4 PM on a Sunday and the store was empty so the service was undeniably quick. There's a kiosk to order from so you can take your time and look through the menu. Overall, a good experience and would come back!“

It's a tiny little inside with some seating on the outside, which is super cute. As for the coconut jelly that they serve, it's not bad, but it could use some improvement. My friend ordered the STRAWBERRY COCONUT JELLY. They use fresh strawberries, but they're the waxy, kind of tasteless ones that the big chain supermarkets carry. I think the owner should consider regularly getting seasonal fruit from one of the nearby farmer's markets. I ordered the WHOLE COCONUT JELLY mainly because of the look of it. Of course, inherently, coconut is a little bland, so I'm curious to find out if the other options - like pineapple, mango or durian - succeed in giving the satisfaction of sweetness and flavor. One other small criticism of this place is that - at least by the time that I went - they hadn't put a trashcan in the dining area. Instead, I had to hand my trash to the person behind the counter. I suggested that they put a trash can somewhere, but they seemed disinterested. “I know this place is really good when I have the urge to write about it. I've always come here for my favorite drink - twinkle fruit tea, which I highly recommend as your first drink here. It comes with chopped up little fruit pieces, it's so yummy. I just tried their popcorn chicken for the first time and I am a popcorn chicken fiend so I can get critical. But I have to say it's the best in town. Super fresh and crispy and soft and tender. The owner also is a very sweet guy who cares about customer service. My favorite combo so far is the golden phoenix oolong with oat milk, osthmanthus jelly, and lavender cream foam. A good way to start off the morning or a good snack for later. The prices aren't that bad for this kind of thing. A few locations of this are around. It's got one in the Sunset Junction area with all the shops and everything. The bowls are the way to go. It's about $10 for an Açaí Bowl. This comes with bananas, berries, coconut, and granola. Basic toppings for a bowl. The other popular items include juices and smoothies. Also you can get a cup of fresh fruit. There's also snacks like protein bars and good stuff. Best place around here as far as the prices for açaí bowls. It's a pretty good portion. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.“

Of course, they can't help it because it's in Hollywood and there's limited space but that does affect my decision to go to a venue or not. The front parking is reserved for Hollywood Coffee House customers for 30-min and there's electric vehicle parking across the street from 8 AM - 8 PM. “fantastic juice spot! $7 for a medium and $8 for a large. they have a variety of options on the menu and combos (orange, pineapple, apple, celery, beets ... so much more) as well as the option to add on a ginger shot the fruits are fresh and juiced to order. you can add honey or sugar too but honestly my juice was sweet just from the fruit already. only wish it was colder but I ended up chilling it in the fridge and it was perfect! not sure if they accept card but cash is preferred if not required“

I couldn’t give five stars for the service because I asked for an extra watermelon smoothie and the guy said he didn’t want to cut open another watermelon to make my second smoothie. Not great customer service. Other than that the customer service was OK. There’s only two chairs to sit down and wait for your drink inside the place. There is no place to drink or hang out or eat at this place. It only has a little waiting room for you to pick up your drinks. That’s it.“
