“They have the most amazing drinks. I’ve gotten a hot Chai Late and an Iced Vietnamese coffee. I also got a Lox bagel it was so amazing. They ate super fast and kind. I highly recommend and I’ve gone 2 days in a row because I loved it so much. It’s very cute and cozy too! Love this place and will continue going back.“

“When we visit San Diego, we eat here at least 3 times. We absolutely LOVE their bagels (they are heavenly and actually give you a good amount of cream cheese!)I love the look of their merch, my only complaint is that we visit yearly, every single year I try to get merch and they are always “sold out” 😔 I dunno how everything is always sold out every-time I ask the last 8 years. Online they tend to be sold out as well the few times I have looked. It is such a dang bummer. I’d love to support with wearing merch. Still hoping one trip I’ll get lucky and they will have something in stock 😅. Also, their lemonade is super super tart. So if you like it sweet like I do, dont get it. The sugar did not help it at all and I added a ton 😂 The other drinks are good!“

“My daughters & I visited this area in March & found this cute little cafe. It was so good we ate there 3 mornings in a row. Andrea greeted me by name on only our 2nd visit there. If you want a friendly, quaint little breakfast place I would highly recommend The Cliffs Cafe!“

“My husband and I love coming here! One of our favorite places to go! The owners are amazingly sweet, very welcoming and always have great customer service!🥰 I recommend anything you get here will be delicious!😋 They have some speciality drinks from Lemon Tea which is my favorite, Green lemon tea, Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee, cold brew and plenty of shake drinks to choose from! Their bacon croissant is super tasty 🤤 but anything you get you won't regret! 😉
Not to mention all the different flavors for donuts 🍩 So stop by and enjoy!“

“Offering authentic New York-style bagels that are crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Their cream cheese spreads are inventive and generously applied. It's a busy local spot for a quick, delicious breakfast or lunch sandwich. A true taste of the East Coast in the West.“

“Bruegger’s Bagels has become one of my absolute favorite go-to spots, especially on busy mornings when I need something comforting, flavorful, and fast. There’s just something about walking into a Bruegger’s and smelling the fresh bagels baking that instantly puts me in a better mood. No matter how hectic my morning might be, I know I can count on Bruegger’s to give me that little moment of peace — and a seriously good bagel — before I dive into the rest of my day. I usually switch between a jalapeño cheese bagel with cream cheese and a plain or jalapeño bagel loaded with ham, egg, and cheese. Both options are absolutely delicious. The jalapeño cheese bagel has that perfect little kick to it, balanced by the smooth, creamy richness of the cream cheese. And when I’m hungrier or need something more filling before a long workday, the ham, egg, and cheese sandwich totally hits the spot. The bagels are always fresh and chewy with just the right amount of crispness on the outside, and the flavor is so satisfying — bold, rich, and super well-made. One of the things I appreciate most is how quick and reliable the service is. Even on a rough morning, I know I can walk in, order, and have my bagel hot and ready in about five minutes. That convenience makes a huge difference when I’m trying to get to my corporate office on time but still want something that feels homemade and hearty. I usually eat it right there before heading in to start my day, and those few minutes of enjoying a warm, fresh bagel always help ground me. Bruegger’s isn’t just a bagel place to me — it’s part of my routine, part of what helps me push through the tough mornings and feel a little more ready to take on the day. There’s comfort in knowing I can rely on them for good food, good service, and a little calm in the middle of the morning rush. I just love Bruegger’s, and I’ll always keep coming back.“

“Your basic chain bagel situation. Very similar to Einstein bros bagels. I got a pastrami and egg and a corned beef and egg bagel sandwiches for breakfast. They were decent. I would recommend coming here for a quick cheap grab and go breakfast.“

“Standard chain bagel shop in the West in America. Not NY bagels exactly, but better than competitors such as Einstein. Wanted a local shop, but none available in Pacific Beach within beach cruiser distance of the Airbnb.
Good bagels and cream cheese and super nice staff.“

“Great coffee. Pastries are fresh. Even if the display case looks low on supply don’t worry as it is regularly replenished due to high demand.
I often go to Java Earth when in PB but it is getting annoying that it is hard to get a table.
Too many singles working by themselves occupying 90% of tables for hours longer than what one drink warrants.“

“I know it’s a chain but it feels like a welcoming little local spot. Prices are very reasonable which I feel is so rare these days, service is good and all the employees are friendly. We love coming here for bacon/sausage, egg, and cheese bagels/croissants and a few donuts.“

“Apparently this doughnut shop has been around for a long time. I driven by here hundreds of time and didn't even know it was there. I stopped in for a maple old fashion and a cup of coffee.
The maple old fashion was very good. It had those good crisp edges and soft middle. The maple flavor was very good. The lady Chen, dropped a couple of glazed doughnut holes in my bag and they were good. The coffee was very good. It was of the drip variety and it was smooth with good flavor.
The owner Chen was very nice. She was a one woman crew when I came in, and with several customers, the handled it well with a smile on her face. The doughnut shop offers a variety of doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, frozen yogurt, and ice cream.“

Lots of choices from bagels to pastries as well as drinks.
I got the sausage egg and cheese on a sourdough and a plain bagel with cream cheese.
Outdoor seating is available if you bring your pets“

“Long lines for opening week, but they get your order while you wait, and are super friendly and the line moves fast. The bagels are hot and delicious and have a great chewy outside. My husband enjoyed the spicy pickle cream cheese, the plain cream cheese is also great. The bagels don’t come cut, they are meant to be torn and dipped, so you aren’t ordering them cut and toasted. They had plain, salt, sesame, poppyseed, and everything. We would have loved to try a sweet bagel, maybe they rotate flavors? Overall a great bagel place!“
