“We've been going to Et Volià! for the past few years. Every time we go we have a good experience. The menu has excellent options; from the appetizers to the mains, cheese selections. One of our favorites is the caviar with blini. It goes well with chilled vodka. The wine list pairs nicely with the food on the menu. The desserts are only fair, though. The pastry on our desserts was dry and over baked on 2 occasions. They have a significant wine cooler visible at the front of the restaurant. Cocktails are equally good and served at a bustling bar. Service can be spotty, but is mostly OK. The ambiance is relaxed with streaming lounge music. It's a world away from the hectic Adams Avenue on the other side of the door. Et Voilà! is consistent, which makes this one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. Highly recommended.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in San Diego. It's quaint and cozy. The staff was so attentive and friendly in a warm manner. From the bartenders all the way to the manager, our servers. I think my favorite dishes last night was the oysters and the mushroom ravioli, acidity, and balance to the sauce was Beyond perfect. It is consistently remarkable “
“We got 5 dishes total and 4 cocktails. All the food was delicious, however every dish had a spicy and sweet flavor profile. While delicious, compared to other restaurants of this price point, they had quite an overlap in flavor. The beet salad, and clams were outstanding. On the maximalist cocktail menu, all drinks were unique and well presented. Highly recommend the “long season” cocktail. Ambience and decor is beautiful and definitely worth a try.“
“Tapas & Beer is the real deal! The vibe is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for date nite or dinner with friends. Now, let's talk about the food – the sausage sampler was delicious. We paired it with a side of organic vegetables and their homemade baquette that they bake right before it comes to your table!!!! So good and they've got an extensive beer selection too! But what really makes this place shine are the owners of the restaurant, Nael and Julie. They are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your experience.“
“I hesitate sometimes to give up my secret spot, because the regulars know how great it is, but I want to be able to get a table! This place has the most wonderful staff, an expert bartender/manager, caring and attentive staff and a wonderful concise menu of amazing quality favorites. Love the Trout, Steak Frites, Duck, Pate, the house salad is wonderful, and a great wine selection!“
“The wonderful couple that runs this humble French inspired food spot are very responsible and friendly. They produce some of the highest quality food choices around San Diego. Their food is fresh and healthy yet filled with flavor in every bite. I can’t say enough about how amazing the food is here. At such a reasonable price as well. The service is fast and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone wether you are hungry or not.“
“I had a croissant, some French Toast, and a latte here. I really liked the French Toast! It was covered with pine nuts, and was drenched in syrup (which I was kinda surprised by, since I thought the pine not coating was going to prevent the today from soaking up the syrup). The nuts added some nice texture, and the syrup was a good amount of sweet. It was kinda hard to cut into, so I just kind of had to bite into the toast slices (maybe that's intended, though). The croissant and the latte were decent; nothing too eye opening for them but they I liked them a decent amount (I think the croissant is maybe good, with something else that is more savory than what I got). Overall, I liked what I got, and am happy to go again!“
“I've now been here three times and have loved it each time! I can't believe I'd never been here before my friends brought me here about a year ago. This place is delicious! It is such a cute little space that has indoor and outdoor seating. It is charming, and the ladies who run the place are fabulous! The food is just as great as the service and ambiance.I have a very restricted diet and found multiple things on the menu.I recommend Creme de la Crepe!“
“The service was kind and thoughtful. The cafe was an absolute delight. It made me feel like I was back at a local cafe in Europe. Lattes were delicious. My husbands chocolate croissant looked amazing but it was unfortunately hard as a rock. ? one woman was making all lattes and orders so it took some time to receive the craft items. Worth the wait on the beverages!Would go again but maybe skip the croissant ??“
“Nutella lovers.....stop what you are doing and check this place out!!!!! We found their little setup at the temecula farmers market on a Saturday morning! We tried the banana, strawberry and nutella crepe!!! Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed this treat and I want more!! Staff was very friendly as well and service was quick. They have a variety of sweet crepes and savory crepes! Definitely check them out!!“
“My new favorite restaurant in San Diego. The food, service, crew, cocktails, and wine list are great.I come here alone, or with friends every opportunity I get.My favorite appetizer is the lamb sausage.Brunch eggs Benedict is best yet.Dinner try the stuffed chicken breast or the salmon.“
“First time at Bleu Boheme's bar, 'GG' was awesome, very friendly and had a glass of Kuleto Prince Red Wine, simply delicious. The atmosphere at the restaurant is beautiful and romantic, everyone is friendly and beautiful ladies working here, especially 'Angelique'. Will definately return.“
“Really good and healthy menu choices. Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our lunch and plan to come again.Parking: Park one block up off main drag. There were plenty of diagonal spaces in front of townhouse apartments and at 1:30 on a Monday, most were available.“
“If you are ever in the San Diego area, The Smoking Goat is a must go to for an exquisite dining experience. Fabulous robust menu accompanied by the best service I received in San Diego along with a beautiful atmosphere; what more can two girls from New York ask for! Scottie, our host for the night, made sure we were extremely taken care of. From the moment we walked through the door, every single thing was flawless. And the food! Let’s just say, my cousin and I cannot stop raving about the food. We had the mussels, steak with fries, and the pork chop. There are no words in existence to describe the food and drinks. I guess we can say impeccable! Thanks again to our new family at The Smoking Goat for a supreme dining experience!“
“I would have given five stars across-the-board if not for one issue. They are understaffed. The waiter was much too busy for the number of tables he had, and while we definitely don't mind waiting, my mother started having a bad coughing attack, and he still hadn't brought any water to the table after 20 minutes. I went to the bar to ask for water because she was having a hard time, and he didn't listen to me, he just kept saying “in a minute, in a minute” when I insisted I just needed a water quickly for her. I had to rush across the street to get some water for her. Eventually he brought over our beverages, but not a water for her. That being said, the food was delicious, and definitely worth the value . They just need some help.“
“We got the prosciutto panini, chocolate & banana crepe, pistachio matcha latte, and London fog tea. Everything was soooo yummy, I'm still thinking about the prosciutto panini to this day The London fog was delicious, but the pistachio matcha latte was lacking the pistachio The crepe made me crave some more crepes. It took a while for our crepe to arrive though cause they took back the number stand thing and didn't know which table the crepe goes to.. BUT!! Would definitely come again to try their other savory breakfast items“
“Delicious food, which was well plated. I had a mussel bisque en route. She had a salad with pan seared prosciutto. We shared a scallops dish and filet mignon. Melt in your mouth! The sourdough was warm and sour. The chocolate cake was light and tasty. We will repeat.“
“My morning visit to Mimis Cafe was an absolute delight, thanks to the exceptional service provided by our server, Rosalio. He was attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our breakfast experience was nothing short of amazing. The highlight of our meal was the French onion soup, a surprising but welcome start to the day. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The omelets were fluffy and packed with fresh ingredients, while the potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. It's rare to find such a combination of great food and service, but Rosalio and Mimis Cafe managed to deliver. Highly recommended!“
