“The dishes were authentic Sichuan flavors. The lamb soup, in particular, was exceptionally tender and flavorful. If you’re a fan of spicy food, this place is a must-visit. The staff were both friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well cared for throughout our meal. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu!“

“We called some food in for a girls night pumpkin carving party for Halloween and we needed 1 XL pizza, 1 gluten free pizza, chicken wings and cheesy bread. Amazing food! Only took 30 min. The customer service was the highlight!! I will 100% be back, a hidden gem in Pleasant Hill. ? Thanks again!“

“My husband introduced me to this place after his boss introduced it to him. When he has to go into the office (he now works from home), he tries to stop by Monster Wings. He said that it is SO much better than Wing Stop. I'm a vegetarian and it's hard to find great tasting food that mimics meat. This place, by far, has the best vegetarian wings. There is so many flavors to choose from and they're all so good. I HIGHLY recommend this place.“

“The quality of this chicken is really good. Meat is juicy. Usually, boneless tends to be a little dry, but this is not. Probably the best chicken i've had in this area. They don't skip on quality.That is for sure. If you have a big appetite, You're looking to spend about $20+
It's on another level compared to KFC, Chick-fil-A, and Wild Wings.“

“I am a serious eater and I love Starbird in Walnut Creek! I get sandwiches or salads. They are perfectly prepared and have amazing flavor. I appreciate that they survey customers about future menu items. Recently they added more salads. I tried Cali salad and loved it. Also they have delicious lemonade and ice tea besides soda“

“I went at 5pm on a Friday. The place has plenty of seats and was empty. Clean tables and a bright interior with pop music in the background. I appreciated the clean tables, especially in a fried chicken spot which can be a messy finger food experience.
The chicken is great. The same tier as Von's in my book. The meat is hot and juicy, with a crisp breading. The flavoring was a little lackluster and I wished they could be stronger. Thankfully, there's chili powder and salt and pepper shakes to top and the staff was happy to give us extra sauce. Please keep letting customers add more seasoning! It's a great perk and was fun to try different amounts on the chicken.
There's another half to the place though! The boba! Boba is good with a large selection. It won't beat boba shops, but this spot shines with the combo deal. You get boba and chicken to share and they go so well together.“

“Was looking for a good chimek place, and this fit the bill. Called to make a reservation , pretty easy. The restaurant is small, but clean and well decorated. All the dishes we had were great, and the fried chicken was perfect. Definitely on the pricier side, but can't complain for the quality.“

“Purely sweet people. I came in late into the day I'm sure they were almost closing but they did custom requests and i said they did not have to if they did not want to. They went above and beyond making my pizza and garlic bread like they are passionate about service. I'm going to come here again!“

“I bought the oyster combo with DoorDash and I absolutely loved the deep fried oysters. The fried breading was very tasty and the oysters tasted like they were cooked just right.
I chose potato salad for the side, I liked it, however, I do not know if they make it fresh.
The combo also comes with a Shasta brand soda, but cola and lemon lime are the only offered flavors.
I definitely want to order from here again.“

“Wings were pretty good though not that hot. The fries were not edible at all. This came via DoorDash and DD waited quite a while so seems the issue was more the eatery, not DoorDash. The wings were pretty good and for the amount paid, you get a nice amount. Wish it’d of been better.“

$45 for a pizza seemed pretty high, it was enough for 3 people though.
We probably won't go back for another considering the cost.
It seems that we could find a nice restaurant for only a few dollars more.“

“This place is right next door to the brewery. They make good finger food. Did not try the dishes. I only hit it with 4 instead of 5 because the waiter did not seem like he really wanted to be there. Also I did not eat at the establishment, I eat between the brewery and food place. Should you go? Absolutely!!! Maybe you will have a 5 instead of a 4!“

“We eat here about once a month. There’s a large all you care to eat selection, service is fast and they have decent list of beers to go with all the meat. The only problem we’ve had is that their scissors aren’t sharpened- that’s ok, next time we’ll bring our own.“
