“First time back here since I moved away after high school in 2013. The bagels used to be the best in the area and now they’re super generic and taste like something you get packaged at the store. Cream cheese is still great but they used to toast the bagel perfectly and it had an amazing crunch. My guess is people complained it was “burnt”. Disappointed but still a great coffee shop.“

The assistance has consistently been acceptable and agreeable. Stopping gets testing during top days and hours, yet consistently figure out how to discover something nearby. I haveno issue suggesting.“

“I’m touring a condo in Oakland for a client making an offer and I stop for a quick bite at a tiny sandwich place next to the Grand Lake Theater. OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. Jerry’s the best and I love this place. Can’t wait to tell my client about it!! “My daughter brought me here to grab a drink before our hike. It's a small shop but it's clean. The owner was kind and answered any questions we had. There is even a cute little spot inside for a picture opportunity. I ordered the invigorator and added an apple to it. It was absolutely delicious and gave me the extra boost I needed to start my morning. I'm usually a coffee person, but this was a healthier and tasty substitute.“

“Great oolong tea and a variety of other teas and snacks. The place attracts a lot of students and offers counter service with a beeper tile for order pickups. The vibe is bright with track lighting, plenty of seating, and one Instagram-worthy spot. Downsides: they can be short-staffed, which limits the menu. Great spot for boba, smoothies and snacks!“
