“Still the best açaí bowl I’ve ever had. I live nearby so I discovered it by random chance, but recently I’ve been trying açaí at other places around the city/while traveling out of town and nothing has come close despite me wanting to find something that comes close. The staff is so friendly too and they always bring it out super fast. The açaí base has the best texture (maybe they sweeten it maybe they mix in banana or cream but I personally am not looking for 100% açaí so I wouldn’t mind if they were) and the nut butters and granola are amazing.“

“Second time here and I will be coming back Seel was respectful and the juices and smoothies are very good. They use fresh fruit and not syrups and concentrates. I like the Aćai bowl but typically they got too much sugar. Seel offered to make one with the no sugar added Aćai and it was fantastic. Prices aren’t the cheapest but not eyeball popping like some juice shops. Solid over all. Can’t beat it on a hot day!“

“Really great acai bowl spot that is along I-80 freeway. The staff was nice, and they flavor/texture of acai was so good. I ordered a small bowl traditional bowl and added mango and peanut butter. Bowl was 5/5 and the peanut butter deserves its own shoutout! Street parking is available, but we had no issue finding parking. They have some seating inside and a couple picnic tables outside. This place is in my top 3 acai bowl spots in the bay area!“

“My favorite spot for an early girl dinner. All the smoothies have hella protein and they don't use any ice. I always feel nourished after drinking them. Plus the owner Minni really cares about the community and gives 1% of sales back to a mutual aid causes every month.“

“I’m touring a condo in Oakland for a client making an offer and I stop for a quick bite at a tiny sandwich place next to the Grand Lake Theater. OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. Quiet, peaceful location to enjoy ice cream away from the frenzy one block away. If you like sampling ice cream from local folks while traveling, this is a must-visit.“

Ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, as one always should when available, and a croissant. Both delicious. Croissant large and buttery.

The prices are fair and the atmosphere is very pleasant and the spirit of Oakland.

“We tried Mango and Mint in Alameda for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The portion size was amazing for the price huge and definitely worth it, especially I love veggies! I ordered the grilled lemongrass pork chop with rice, and it was flavorful. Few seating capacity but that is totally fine since it it kinda quick service set-up.

The Thai milk tea was just how I like it rich with tea flavor, not overly sweet. We also had the pineapple coconut smoothie, and you could really taste the mint and kale refreshing and fun!

Service was great & the staff was friendly, and the menu is simple, with plenty of drink options. Overall, it’s such a wonderful local find a true underrated spot in Alameda.

I just hope the serving sizes stay consistent because everything we ordered tasted great. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Warm, inviting, clean, friendly staff & fast service. The manager was training the ladies on a new menu item (mozzarella bites) & he allowed me to try one. I immediately added the bites to my order because they were tasty & hot. My dragon fruit bowl did not disappoint either. I normally order an açaí bowl but I needed more vitamin c. The bowl was delicious, fresh ingredients & ready within 2 minutes.“

“Today we visited El Jardín de los Sueños Cafe ( Garden of Dreams Cafe) It was crowded but the service was spot on. The ladies serving worked fast and the hot chocolate we order was yummy. The neat thing about this Cafe is that they have a children's play space . They have children's books a doll house and toys. Food wise they have regular Cafe drinks but their hot chocolate has delicious cinnamon. They have omelettes, Bagels ,Sandwiches . protein smoothies and fresh juices. They also carry a variety of candy from Mexico and el salvador. There is also an outdoor seating area. Today being Saturday it was crowded but there was plenty of standing space. I loved the livelyness of the Cafe and overall it was a very interesting place to visit. I think this is a great place for families or for friends to meet.“

“My daughter loves this place so much. The açaí bowl is incredible! She orders it often, and it never fails to brighten her day.

The online ordering lets her put it in and grab on the go. It feels healthy and satisfying and given the price of everything these days, it’s fair! Plus locally owned. Highly recommend.“

This place has been slammed every time I come in but the employees are always working hard to keep up with orders without cutting corners or getting short with customers. If you’re in a rush, I recommend ordering ahead for pickup.
