Black sesame is one of my favourite flavours, and it pairs so well with all the bases. Each build-your-own bowl is set at a fixed price based on size, and toppings are unlimited, so it's a great value.Everything from parking to ordering and enjoying the açaí is super easy. There's plenty of metered street parking along Ocean Ave, and I've often been able to park very close. You can order online or in person at their in-store kiosk. It was definitely worth the wait since Senegalese food is very unique in the FiDi (and even San Francisco) and it's delicious!Pizza Pulaar: A really unique "pizza" and much heartier than typical flat breads. The nice butternut squash paste made it hearty and flavorful. The generous amount of cheese was crucial to be pizza-like. And all the wonderful spices gave it so much personality. Plus the fresh pomegranate seeds were a great seasonal touch. High recommend!Senegalese Street Style Spaghetti Sandwich: It was like they took a basic Italian spaghetti and meat sauce then added a bunch of yummy African spices. Definitely a nice zing. My recommendation is just try it yourself!Chicken Drumsticks Teranga: While the other dishes are tasty, they seem a bit sparse on protein. I made sure to get every bit of that delicious sauce with the stray bits of rice left over.Love Potion: Lots of flavor in this little bottle. A little thick, so I added some sparkling mineral water in a glass with this and turned it into a refreshing spritzer. And t's not just about the coffee as the menu featured a variety of homemade and fresh baked treats, from hot scones to sandwiches and salads, all prepared in their open kitchen. The smoothies, we were told have gained popularity and made waves on social media. We tried Maca Cloud and its imopressive with a long list of execpetional ingredinets. The charming floral displays at the entrance were a crowd pleaser and it was great to see a mix locals, tourits and even a huge group from SF Fire Dept enjoying the space. Nothing wrong with the tortillas, just nice to have a variation sometimes. If I want something smaller, than a regular burrito, I'll go with a super taco. The staff are super friendly and the shop is well-maintained. You can eat in, there are a number of tables and chairs and even a working TV. I visited before the lunch rush and almost had the place to myself. But I've been here when I've had to wait in line to place an order and then wait for the order - they do get slammed. Haven't tried any of the deli sandwiches or breakfast items... yet!“

“Saturday-Wednesday, 11/18/23-11/23/23, Deserting at Bambu Deserts & Drinks in San Francisco. Oh man! This desert shop is so goooood that I went back multiple times to try out their other deserts on the menu. Their pandan jelly, boba, and red tapioca are super soft, fragrant, and refreshing which got me hooked for more.I’ve tried many desert shops in Los Angeles County and Orange County and this desert shop has raised the bar, big time. I have been elated by this experience with Bambu, San Francisco. I’m so blessed.Here are a few desserts I’ve tried for the week that I’m there on my vacation in San Francisco.-Smashed Avocado: Awesome!!! it’s so refreshing and burst of flavors especially with the coffee jelly! Words could not express my feeling with the taste of this dessert!-Pandan waffle: I’ve ordered it to go and after some time, it is still crispy and flavorful which is unexpected.-Bambu favorite: full of the different flavors in the ingredients-Hazelnut Mocha blend: Hazelnut flavored coffee and very smooth.-Fresh coconut pudding: coconut jelly & cream in a real coconut shell with its meat. Amazing texture and flavors that I never had before and it’s so refreshing on a warm day!!!-Mangonada: Wow! Refreshing smoothie with some tang. I can’t believe this Vietnamese dessert shop makes such a great Mexican style smoothie.-Avo-coconut smoothie: I had avocado smoothie before but not with coconut. It’s a great blend that compliment the avocado.-Taro lovers; the pandas jelly and taro were so fresh and tender with the coconut milk made it so refreshing. If you like to taste more of the taro, ask for the 75% sweetness.-Awesome Trio: a classic Vietnamese Che that can’t go wrong. As expected it is delicious and my favorite childhood drink/desert.-Bambu Halo Halo: A Filipino classic desert with so much ingredients that to buy all ingredients, it would cost me over $40 easy. I enjoyed a large cup my way, right away for $9, it’s all worth it and more.The service staffs work fast, were friendly, super nice, and service with a smile each time I’m there.I’ve been eating at so many dessert shops and I think this shop is by far the best of the best with their high quality ingredients!I highly recommend trying this Bambu Desert shop if you are traveling to the San Francisco area like me or if you are local, you must already notice that this is a hidden gems of a dessert shop. “Back in 2004, I was working at 333 Bush St. and this was our favorite salad lunch place. Now I'm on Battery St. and was happy to that this Cafe Venue location was still open. Too bad their Leidesdorff alley location is now closed. The salad chefs there were better and closer to me on Battery St. Today I had their breakfast burrito with sausage, + avocado & sour cream $1.50 = $10.95. O! such good memories! Tomorrow I'll come back for lunch and get my old favorites, the chop chop salad or the spinach one. Service was excellent was for a counter style restaurant.“
“The teas are strong, the smoothies are delicious. I have only heard about the tea because I am a caffeine free child, but the smoothies. THE SMOOTHIES!!!!! They have so many different flavours, and the sweetness is always perfect. I also like how their large sizes are actually large. I definitely recommend the red bean smoothie, which somehow exists, and I LOVE IT. The drinks can get a bit sweet, but you can change the sweetness on all of them, I believe. Since they are a very popular business, it does take some time for them to make the drinks, but the wait is always worth it. And, they are "professionals," and they work as hard as they can to make your drink. It's a very small place, so most people get their drinks to-go, which is what happens at most boba shops anyways, so that doesn't change anything about my extremely high opinions about them. I did have a favourite drink before, but they took it off the menu. I have since loved the red bean smoothie, and highly recommend it.:)“

“This JUICE HOUSE is a kiosk located in the Ferry Building manned by the friendliest lady. She kept offering free samples even though I was ready to buy something already. She was enthusiastic and was ready to describe each menu item. I ordered GREEN MACHINE which has celery, cucumber, kale, chard, parsley, spinach, apple, lemon, ginger. This was not an easy beverage to drink and has a bit of a kick in the end. You can enjoy your drink while walking around Ferry Building which is awesome and beautiful, or you could take it outside and walk along the water.“

Though their pretty ombre drinks are tempting (July4 is red, white, & blue, & Summer Sunsets is aptly named), I've always only ordered the unadventurous, but reliably delicious Decaf Jasmine Green Milk Tea with lychee jelly. I alternate between 50% and 75% sweet & honestly, they both taste similar & perfectly not-too-sweet for me. Love it, will continue to order it. I've yet to try their frozen yogurt, but I did buy Chicken Teriyaki Misubi (two pieces to an order) based on being told that it's made with chicken breast. Plot twist: it was made with chicken thigh, my least favorite piece. All good, they excel at making milk tea, & that's all that matters. I guess you could say Cuppa is my cuppa tea.“

They were tabling infront of the Mashouf Wellness center on Recreation Day and had some amazing wellness shots(non-alcoholic)! Tried out the Power Wrap, which was HUGE, it's great they cut it in half. Came with this sauce that was spicy, but complimented the wrap. Great place to grab pressed juices, superfood bowls, anything energizing before/after hitting the gym! Service was pretty fast - they asked if I was okay with hummus, since I mentioned I was allergic to nuts - which was super considerate! Would for sure stop by again.
