“Best California fusion açaí! What really stands out to me about this açaí spot is that they offer black sesame butter as a topping. Black sesame is one of my favourite flavours, and it pairs so well with all the bases. Each build-your-own bowl is set at a fixed price based on size, and toppings are unlimited, so it's a great value.Everything from parking to ordering and enjoying the açaí is super easy. There's plenty of metered street parking along Ocean Ave, and I've often been able to park very close. You can order online or in person at their in-store kiosk. “A latecomer to the Vacant to Vibrant pop-up series. I walked by several times hoping they'd open and finally they did! It was definitely worth the wait since Senegalese food is very unique in the FiDi (and even San Francisco) and it's delicious!Pizza Pulaar: A really unique "pizza" and much heartier than typical flat breads. The nice butternut squash paste made it hearty and flavorful. The generous amount of cheese was crucial to be pizza-like. And all the wonderful spices gave it so much personality. Plus the fresh pomegranate seeds were a great seasonal touch. High recommend!Senegalese Street Style Spaghetti Sandwich: It was like they took a basic Italian spaghetti and meat sauce then added a bunch of yummy African spices. Definitely a nice zing. A tad carby, but so good! Though I must say there were some skeptical reactions when I posted pics on social media. My recommendation is just try it yourself!Chicken Drumsticks Teranga: While the other dishes are tasty, they seem a bit sparse on protein. So adding these to your order is a nice way to upgrade your meal. It would just be a regular old baked drumstick, except for the delish sauce! It's got a nice tang and tons of spices. They should seriously sell bottles of that stuff to upgrade your chicken at home.Mango Kalamata Olive Salad: Kinda tastes like a regular salad, that happens to have fresh mangos in it. Lots of healthy veggies, but the least flavorful of the items I tried.Maafe Bowl: It wasn't the maafe I was expecting, but it was the maafe I needed. I thought it would have a stronger peanut taste, kinda like satay. Turned out to be packed with tons of flavors and just a little peanut undertones. It was hearty, thick and spicy. Pretty filling for vegetarian, with lots of nice chunks of root veggies and squash. I made sure to get every bit of that delicious sauce with the stray bits of rice left over.Love Potion: Lots of flavor in this little bottle. A little thick, so I added some sparkling mineral water in a glass with this and turned it into a refreshing spritzer. Though it's also enjoyable as a thicker drink by itself; flavor is not overwhelming just a bit of viscous texture.“

And speaking of coffee, their freshly brewed roasts, roasted on-site in a huge visible roaster, were beyomd perfect. And t's not just about the coffee as the menu featured a variety of homemade and fresh baked treats, from hot scones to sandwiches and salads, all prepared in their open kitchen. The smoothies, we were told have gained popularity and made waves on social media. We tried Maca Cloud and its imopressive with a long list of execpetional ingredinets. The charming floral displays at the entrance were a crowd pleaser and it was great to see a mix locals, tourits and even a huge group from SF Fire Dept enjoying the space. This desert shop is so goooood that I went back multiple times to try out their other deserts on the menu. Their pandan jelly, boba, and red tapioca are super soft, fragrant, and refreshing which got me hooked for more.I’ve tried many desert shops in Los Angeles County and Orange County and this desert shop has raised the bar, big time. I have been elated by this experience with Bambu, San Francisco. I’m so blessed. Here are a few desserts I’ve tried for the week that I’m there on my vacation in San Francisco.-Smashed Avocado: Awesome!!! it’s so refreshing and burst of flavors especially with the coffee jelly! Words could not express my feeling with the taste of this dessert!-Pandan waffle: I’ve ordered it to go and after some time, it is still crispy and flavorful which is unexpected.-Bambu favorite: full of the different flavors in the ingredients-Hazelnut Mocha blend: Hazelnut flavored coffee and very smooth.-Fresh coconut pudding: coconut jelly & cream in a real coconut shell with its meat. Amazing texture and flavors that I never had before and it’s so refreshing on a warm day!!!-Mangonada: Wow! Refreshing smoothie with some tang. I can’t believe this Vietnamese dessert shop makes such a great Mexican style smoothie.-Avo-coconut smoothie: I had avocado smoothie before but not with coconut. It’s a great blend that compliment the avocado.-Taro lovers; the pandas jelly and taro were so fresh and tender with the coconut milk made it so refreshing. If you like to taste more of the taro, ask for the 75% sweetness.-Awesome Trio: a classic Vietnamese Che that can’t go wrong. As expected it is delicious and my favorite childhood drink/desert.-Bambu Halo Halo: A Filipino classic desert with so much ingredients that to buy all ingredients, it would cost me over $40 easy. I enjoyed a large cup my way, right away for $9, it’s all worth it and more. The service staffs work fast, were friendly, super nice, and service with a smile each time I’m there.I’ve been eating at so many dessert shops and I think this shop is by far the best of the best with their high quality ingredients!I highly recommend trying this Bambu Desert shop if you are traveling to the San Francisco area like me or if you are local, you must already notice that this is a hidden gems of a dessert shop. I just moved here a month ago from Marin and four cafes in the Mission I have tried so far have been tired, dirty and run down. What’s up with that? “The teas are strong, the smoothies are delicious. I have only heard about the tea because I am a caffeine free child, but the smoothies. THE SMOOTHIES!!!!! They have so many different flavours, and the sweetness is always perfect. I also like how their large sizes are actually large. I definitely recommend the red bean smoothie, which somehow exists, and I LOVE IT. The drinks can get a bit sweet, but you can change the sweetness on all of them, I believe. Since they are a very popular business, it does take some time for them to make the drinks, but the wait is always worth it. And, they are "professionals," and they work as hard as they can to make your drink. It's a very small place, so most people get their drinks to-go, which is what happens at most boba shops anyways, so that doesn't change anything about my extremely high opinions about them. I did have a favourite drink before, but they took it off the menu. I have since loved the red bean smoothie, and highly recommend it.:)“

“In many Asian households, the highest compliment for something that's supposed to be sweet is, "Yum, it's not too sweet!" Cuppa isn't enthusiastic about making sugary drinks according to a posted sign, which suits my palate just fine. Though their pretty ombre drinks are tempting (July4 is red, white, & blue, & Summer Sunsets is aptly named), I've always only ordered the unadventurous, but reliably delicious Decaf Jasmine Green Milk Tea with lychee jelly. I alternate between 50% and 75% sweet & honestly, they both taste similar & perfectly not-too-sweet for me. Love it, will continue to order it. I've yet to try their frozen yogurt, but I did buy Chicken Teriyaki Misubi (two pieces to an order) based on being told that it's made with chicken breast. Plot twist: it was made with chicken thigh, my least favorite piece. All good, they excel at making milk tea, & that's all that matters. I guess you could say Cuppa is my cuppa tea.“

On weekends, it can get busy.Kid-friendliness: There is a park adjacent to the shop.Wheelchair accessibility: No entry. Everything is done outside“

“Quick stop at UPFORDAYZ today provided me with a quick snack that was quite delicious. I selected the London Broil sandwich with tender beef and toppings on a in house fresh baked roll. It was moist,  tasty and well prepared. For a beverage I selected the Balance shake which contained avocado and banana. It was very creamy and smooth, a delicate flavor and not too sweet. Excellent!“

“Cutest little coffee shop!! I like to come in here when I need to print something or I’m doing laundry next door. The chocolate croissant is very yummy. Beautiful atmosphere, very hippie with tons of decorations filling every inch of the place. So much fun to stare at all the knickknacks and details that have been put into this place. There’s even a framed dog wall where you can submit your own dog pics! I love the energy, definitely worth checking out for a bite and a taste of the haight“

“There's plenty of tables inside. There's tables of 8, 4, and even 2! Unfortunately it is cash only, so be prepared to bring CASH!! The food is pretty good. You can easily substitute certain things in your dessert. They're quite accommodating that way. The mango mochi is really refreshing too!You can easily refill your own tea by the cash register. I believe it's a lychee herbal tea. Delicious!“

“Enjoyed the tea with Lychee jelly here. I wanted to try the black team but someone in my group suggested that their milk tea is real good. And I am glad I tried that. I skipped the boa this time. Opted for Assam team with oat milk to revive my old memories of Assam. And It was a so flavorsome and well balanced. I always go low on the sugar. That brings best tea flavors for me. Liked the experience. Will visit again to taste the black tea. Thanks to the team at this facility who made this well tasting tea !“

Suga Bros Juice •
60 Morris St, San Francisco

“Ambiance: this is mostly a ghost kitchen so ambiance doesn't really apply. Food: the various flavors were nice to see. I really enjoy sugar cane and I thought that it was nice that they had such a wide selection. Although I liked the juice I did think the sugar cane juice was a little over priced. Other than that I would recommend. Service: it was nice. The parking for the ghost kitchen is tight and a little hard to find“

“I just got the popcorn chicken and man.. I love it. They have a non-spicy option, which is a lot better for me. They give a huge portion and it tastes great. It's definitely my go to popcorn chicken spot. The popcorn chicken seems to be bigger compared the last time I went here a year ago.“
