“BEST PLACE I VISITED IN SF. I tried two smoothies, acai and dragon punch smoothies. Honestly didn’t like the acai, but I LOVED the dragon punch!!! Quick and easy, I added extra berries. Workers were nice and they had seating indoors and outdoors. Wish I could have tried everything. I hope to be back in SF, specifically for this place.“

“Acai bowls are really tasty, although kind of expensive. That's SF for you! The ingredients seem high quality and the portions are generous so it's worth it as a treat. It would be nice if they have a couple small tables instead of no seating, but we typically take our bowls to duboce park.The guy who almost always seems to be working there is friendly, which I appreciate.

Vegetarian options: It's all smoothies and juices so unless there are any super surprises it should all be vegetarian and probably mostly vegan

Kid-friendliness: No kids menu, do your kids like smoothies and acai?“

“I had the one scoop hot fudge sundae with my choice of icecream flavour. It was delicious! If it was ‘Norman’ serving he was a delight taking such care over each order and every scoop. I didn’t mind waiting to receive such thoughtful service. Highly recommend 🍨😋“

“I ordered the matcha ube latte along with the hokkaido cheese tarts and matcha cheese tarts. The matcha was strong and the ube complements it nicely. Both tarts were great too, slightly crisp but not too sweet, but I still prefer the regular cheese tart. The matcha added some bitterness, and the flavors didn’t blend as smoothly as I expected.

The lines can be quite long but it moves fast.“

“Uma delicia! Recently visited for a coffee and light breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Had their Coxinha, which was divine. Also had their corn and cheese Rissole. Also really tasty and went well with their pepper sauce (careful, it's pretty spicy!).

“After seeing Ivonnie S.' popcorn chicken photos, I needed to come to Foam Tea House. Their popcorn chicken bento box w/milk tea $16 was indeed good. I liked how there's basil in the popcorn chicken and came with a little thing of spicy Taiwanese powder. The egg rolls were the Costco type, not that there's anything wrong with that. For Taiwanese bentos, I would have preferred a traditional pickled egg or vegetables instead. Food came out quick. Good job Foam Tea House staff member and thank you Ivonnie for always posting useful content.

Background: This location used to be a bakery for a long time. Rolling Out Bakery used to have some good croissants, egg tarts and kouign amanns. The nerd card store Versus Games is still here. The card shop was packed full of people playing card games like Pokemon or Magic taking up all the parking.“

“A hidden cafe gem in the Sunset/Parkside neighborhood serving authentic Guatemalan coffee.

Staff there are nice and friendly and the inside of the cafe is beautifully decorated and welcoming.

I recommend getting their banana cream latte, one of the best lattes I've had in all of SF. Great prices and quality for what you're getting.“

“Stopped by for a brown sugar boba milk and got the deep brown sugar flavor I wanted! Pearls are perfectly chewy and a great size (slightly smaller than many other shops', which I like)! I do wish there was more attention to the interior but perhaps there wasn't enough space in the back for all the stock/boxes. There's enough seating for two, but thankfully there's the neighboring park for groups with more people! Love that they have food in their selection and I think the eggette skewers are such a great idea! Hope to be back soon to try other drink items.“

“​Yu's Cafe is a good spot for unique treats at very reasonable prices. It is located in Chinatown, beside a park. Their Coffee Cheese is absolutely delicious.

“Surprise root canal procedure (the wife's) at the dentist next door meant I was stranded in the city, early. No time for coffee or a snack at home. So while wifey was in the chair, I was free to search out a cappuccino and breakfast. Cafe Encore totally scored. Excellent cappuccino, tasty bagel sandwich, charming/delightful owner. Incredibly good food, everything's made fresh and they are so fast. I can really recommend the special sandwiches or wraps for a healthy and tasty lunch. Or a toasted bagel if ur rushing to class. “Glad to find this place. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their offering and even their service. Well I don't really like coffee drinks that have flavorings in them. I was pretty hungry and was almost about to order one when I saw that they had more extensive boba type menu. And I ordered the taro drink which had a combination of fresh taro milk and kind of the artificial taro milk mixture. You can see that they have different layers and it looks pretty nice. I would go back and try the other boba things. The staff were pretty nice and willing to answer my questions about what was in their drinks.“

This place has been slammed every time I come in but the employees are always working hard to keep up with orders without cutting corners or getting short with customers. If you’re in a rush, I recommend ordering ahead for pickup.

The shop is small, just big enough for people to order and stand waiting along the wall. It’s clean and the rainbow flags are a friendly touch.“
