“My husband and I had the most delicious empanadas when we were in Patagonia. We had some killer empanadas in Boulder. And now, we found some in our own town of Lafayette. The chicken was better than the veggie. The veggie just needed some more oven time.?When you order, best to take home and heat up. They did not come with a chimichurri sauce but should!“

“Love this place, the food is fantastic, very much a taqueria. The Cameron’s taco are fantastic. Everyone that works there are really friendly, you can tell they like it there because it is the same faces.

They moved in and painted the place bright pink. They replaced another favorite that was not able to survive COVID.

If you get take out, check you got your chips, they love to leave those out of your bag. 5 stars if not for the many bags of missing chips.“

“Pupusas are made fresh. Get your revueltas, or jalapeno y queso here. Takes 15 minutes or so to make so come ready. 2.50 for any pupusas. Tacos here are also delicious, comes with a lot of meat and very well flavored. 2.00 each. Horchata isn't super sweet which I like but cost 3.00 each.“

“It was my first time going there. My family and I ate some tasty pupusas. I got loroco con queso and they got frijol con queso. They were a pretty decent size and they were good. They also have tables and chairs for you to eat there. Reasonable prices.“

“This place has been one of my favorites since I came but this last time I went it was not pleasant as always we ordered some enchiladas chapinas and they were older and harder I couldn't even get my teeth into the tortillas then the curtido smelled ruined l3 I said to the waitress and she didn't like my comment the yevo were the tortillas and the same chuco tanned they put them we ordered some corn tamales anyway ☹️ they were very hard and I say this seriously because I am a cook and one knows when things are not fresh that Don't mind if comments are made, it's for improvement, it's not for anyone to be ill-intentioned. It packed quite a wallop but was overshadowed by the sweetness. 3 out of 5 ⭐️ I toyed with the idea of Pato Chicharrone (duck cracklings) with pickled red onions and aioli. A different twist on an old-style recipe. The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️“

“The best Chapin bread and that's it. I am Mexican and Mexican bread is very delicious but I like this bread better. In addition, Oakland is already getting its act together and is cleaning the streets of all the trash there is. So now the bakery is more accessible.“

Authentic flavors from Michoacan if you're in the area this is a great option, clean , friendly staff, and plenty of seating area and free parking was pretty easy to find.

The bus stop is also right across from the restaurants entrance for those who ride public transportation.“
