“Delicious! I am a Brit and finding good curry here is hard, found it here, got takeout. Ordered couple things to try and love real spice so got spicy chicken vindaloo, spicy chicken curry, medium chana masala and garlic naan. Enjoyed each dish, great quality, flavor and spice. Will be back, craving it again already!“

“Very very high quality lamb meat. They do not skimp on ingredients. I used to always get my Indian food from Himalayan Taste and I always had bad lamb meat. I talked to the owner and gave them reviews, but alas, nothing worked. I’ve taken my business to this restaurant and all my friends are going to follow suit.

“Busy place! So it must be good! We should have got the buffet but wanted to try our favorites. Chicken tikka was ok. A little too spicy that over powered the flavor. All I could taste was salt. The opposite on the palak paneer. It did not have enough salt. Naan was awesome. Overall want to try again but will get the buffet next time. Still looking for the ultimate chicken tikka!“

“This place genuinely has the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Their lunch buffet provides a massive array of incredible options, fit for anyones taste. Everything was fantastic, but I HIGHLY recommending trying the biryani. Not to mention the unbelievable mango lassi to pair with the meal.
The buffet is also clean and I was able to get seated immediately on a weekday afternoon.“

“I walk in to fragrant Indian spices. My mouth immediately starts to water. The appetizer comes out Some kind of vegetable dumpling my son ordered. One bite dipped in an incredible mint curry sauce and I'm in Nirvanna. It only gets better from there... SO GOOD!“

“Plan being to go today and read the recent 3 reviews but have been in their buffet multiple times. My daughter love their shahi paneer and palak paneer with Bhindi and I like their butter chicken to go. That is all happened very frequently up until last 2 weeks. I will share another note after I am done today with my and 2 of my friends and family!!“

“Finally a true and authentic Indian Fine restaurant..I was happily surprised to see and experience traditional Indian cuisine and flavors. CHEF ?? @Sanjay Rawat has done a great job in keeping the food a superb attraction. We had following and siper impressed by each and evey itme invkuding the mint chutney. Well done Chef.

“They serve authentic Hyderabadi biryani, but only on fri-sun. I tried first time and def on my next visit to Irvine I will go this place. Also , first Indian restaurant in So cal which serve rumali roti . Must go place if you are in Orange County

“One of the most sub standard experience! The food had all the same curry base, made from canned ingredients. The staff was unhelpful and did not care at all. The seating is narrow and cheap. The portion size of s horrible. The taste of the food is awe filling because it’s probably microwaved rather than cooked properly. Horrible experience. Stay away! There are better Indian restaurants.“

“The food is very good. I love the potato falafel, honey glazed chicken kabob, rice and chicken tikka masala. Even the mild spicy is very spicy! Watch out. The sautéed vegetable is so good and flavorful.“

“So delicious! Where else can you get vegan tikka masala, butter tofu, saag tofu.. tell me, I wanna know! So hard to find. So pleased they offer so many vegan options beyond the normal chana, dal, bhindi, aloo we usually get. I missed having a creamy, rich tikka! The tofu butter masala was my favorite (at least I think I was that one - the darker orange one). Closest to a tikka one might have had before going vegan. Absolutely loved it. Called and confirmed everything on the "Indian Vegan Cafe" menu is 100% vegan. I bet you can also just go to Southern Spice and sit down and order it. I'll have to try someday. I did pickup after placing a GrubHub order - be warned, it seemed to take longer than the non vegan orders, wasn't ready quite when the app said it was. Not really a "ghost kitchen"... really just Southern Spice's vegan menu but separated into a different name for ordering. TLDR - highly recommend, especially if you're craving more creamy (but vegan!) Indian curries! Updated from previous review on 2023-06-08“
