“I stopped in for lunch when I received an unexpected call and had to leave before my food was ready. I asked if I could come back to pick it up to go later and the staff/owner were very accommodating. When I came back later they had even saved my beer for me in the fridge. I wasn't able to eat for a couple hours after I picked it up, but it was still so delicious. I got a combo with 8pc nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. It was awesome. Highly recommend. My grass-fed steak was tender and juicy, the mac n cheese was comforting and delicious, and the side of beets paired well with the goat cheese. “We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“Excellent food and wonderful service! My wife and I popped in here after a long bike ride, and we weren't disappointed. We shared the supreme breakfast burrito with venison and the waffles with fruit. The burrito was so good, the meat was cooked to perfection and the combination with the eggs and potatoes made it wonderful. And the waffles, oh my! We will definitely be back for more of this delicious food. Oh, and the service was incredible, everyone is so friendly and attentive. A+++“

It comes with mushrooms but wish they had butter or something else basic if someone isnt into the mushrooms but the bread and mushrooms did pair really well together! It is a bit pricey for a salad, but they are seriously good, and good for you so I dont mind spending a bit more. The restaurant is usually empty or has 1 to 2 people which can be a bit odd, but I usually get my salads to go so I don't mind.“
