“Went back a second time and tried the Chicken Behrani off the lunch special menu. Once again, the food was bomb and the amazing service is always such an unexpected surprise but very much appreciated. Their lunch menu is $12.99 and has a bunch of other options to check out. I will definitely be stopping by whenever I am in the area for work.“
“See below for veggie options...my sister is vegetarian and was satisfied with her meal.I ordered the Goat plate street food and was so full I could barely walk out of the restaurant. Very tasty spicy food-- I could not stop eating the huge generous portions. Amy was very helpful and passionate about serving her specialty food. I will take a date here for sure. They even have indigenous beers and wines.Vegetarian options: There were quite a lot of vegetarian dishes, about half the menu. Plenty of options to choose from. Excellent exotic taste. Very spicy available. Dessert menu original. Drinks were vegan. Very wide variety and excellent service with a smile. Amy was very passionate about her job. A pleasure to dine here, and a huge amount for each generous portion...you won't go hungry.“
“Exquisite ambience, innovative food and nice service! Went there for the dinner on Valentine’s and it was worth every penny. The dishes are really innovative and still have that touch of Indian food. Apt and balanced spices. Loved the way they have put in so much efforts in improvising the dishes.I ordered butter chicken pot pie, garlic naan, dum biryani, death by chocolate.Dessert was a 3/5 though, it wasn’t really that tasty.“
“The food and service at the new location are just as wonderful as the original location. I look forward to more of my favorite dishes coming over. For now, I am enjoying trying new dishes and the lunch specials are a great deal. The team members are extremely friendly/inviting, and I always enjoy their recommendations.“
“Had the Malai Kofta. First time I tried such a dish. Really good. Enjoyed the garlic Naan and veg. Samosa. Portion size was good for two of us to share. Met the owner Narjees who said they also own a restaurant of the same name in San Clemente.“
“It is easy to miss this place driving by as it is small and located next to Udupi, a well known South Indian restaurant chain. Parking can be challenging on a busy afternoon but that is the case with most restaurants on Pioneer. The place itself is relatively new but the food is amongst the best I have had in the United States. We came in hungry and was greeted by the friendly owner who took our order and explained the menu items to us. We ordered the papdi chaat and the Maharaja Thali, both of which were delicious and bursting with contrasting flavors. We really enjoyed the three types of roti, baatis, daal and the spicy red chutney. Each bite tasted distinct and you could taste the quality of homemade Rajastani food. Sampling different items on the Thali was an experience in and of itself.I don't understand what some of these poorly written, negative reviews are about. As someone who likes to dine out, the prices are more than fair and the portions are filling. Maybe the service was a bit slow during peak hours but those are things that can be easily fixed. I am not a vegetarian but I loved their food. Maybe other restaurants in the area need to do some quality control instead of serving stale food, delivering poor & inconsistent service and expecting that the customers will somehow keep returning. Leaving fake reviews on a family-owned restaurant trying to drive them out of business is really trashy and makes you look petty more than anything else.Vegetarian options: All items on the menu are vegetarian and made with plant-based ingredients. May contain dairy and nuts for those with allergies.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian, plant-based, gluten-free options.Parking: Depends on the day. Weekends are busiest.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, wheelchair accessible“
“I was out in Whittier today and found this sppt that opened a few months ago! I found parking right in front and the owner was super friendly. He also offered samples and they were good. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and Spinach&Cheese on my 2 item plate with Garlic Naan! Everything was fresh and delicious the Garlic Naan was also huge and amazing. Will definitely be back for more Indian food in the future!“
“OMG!! our 1st time eating Indian food and we ordered the Chicken Madras and Karahi Gosht and the dishes were so so good!! the white rice was cooked perfect. we loved it. Next time we will come in to eat dinner for sure. The dishes were perfect!!! compliments to the “
“Amazing service and great food at such an good price. They offered us samples of their dishes and offered to alter spice levels for the Al LA carte items. They also filled the containers to the brim and were friendly and kind the whole time. Will definitely come back for the best Indian food nearby!“
“BEST CURRY around. Best curry in all of LA that I've tried and thankfully their prices are acceptable for our family to be able to come here and eat. Highly recommend. Tikka Masala is excellent and garlic naan is yummy. If bringing children they will likely be able to handle the masala but be sure to sample anything else to test the spiciness. I enjoy it All but not everyone has the same pallet. I almost always eat in the parking lot in my car because it's too good to wait to get home! I'm writing this review from my car after thoroughly enjoying yet another meal from Curry Hut La Mirada. Thanks again!“
“I eat Indian food a couple of times a month. There's a great place in Inglewood for Indian food, when I lived around there. However, it is too far now and too expensive for casual eating.I have some friends who are Indian who sometimes make really amazing dishes.Punjabi hits the button on being close and price. It's a bargain for what you get. They even give you a nice little dessert! The sauces could be more spicy. They are toned down for the locale. Im sure if I ask for extra spicy, they'd do so, but it works as it is for my family to eat.If you want some Indian food to hit the spot without breaking the bank, give this place a shot. Just ask for extra spice or extra spice seasoning on the side if you like it to burn.“
“First time here, ordered Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken itself was good, the sauce was too sweet for my liking. Garlic naan was really good.I will not fault the restaurant for the sauce, this is the way they make it,and it’s not bad by any means, just too sweet for my tastes.“
“I am never disappointed when I order food from Appu's Cafe. I have tried almost everything on the menu and found it to be delicious, a good value for the price, and always ready on-time when I order online. The staff is kind and pleasant and very accomodating (sometimes I need to ask for the spice level to go down a few levels!). Excellent value all the way around!“
“Oh my goodness, this is my first time trying chicken tikka masala and it's INCREDIBLE! This is the best Indian curry i've tasted so far! Even better than the restaurants I went to in my trip to UK. (They were probably not the best rated and I didn't check reviews, lmao.) I ordered through uber eats, but I will definitely come here next time. Wow!“
“My fiancé (he's Indian) and I have lived in LA for over two years now and we had yet to find any good Indian places that were to our satisfaction, until now! We're so happy that Amaravathi Express is here! The flavors are on point and well balanced and the service is impeccable. We've already been back twice and already looking forward to our next trip back, which is an hour drive and still totally worth it for quality Indian food.“
“Owners are very friendly people. Raj is very nice and funny. He’s got GREAT customer services .. top notch. Food is amazing! Lots of snacks to choose from. Food made fresh to order. I strongly suggest you try RT Kitchen for parties and any event!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan here, and delicious ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Parking: It’s tricky getting in, but plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking right at front door.“
“Vegetarian friendly menu. We usually order the saag paneer, mushroom masala, yellow daal, naan and the fries rice. Portions are good size and everything is seasoned well. We took my sister in law and her husband and they said best Indian food they've had!“
“The best Chicken Tikka Marsala I have ever tasted. The Butter Chicken & Goat Curry were excellent as well. You have to try the Mango Lassi drink & the Garlic Naan bread. It is a must. The service was friendly and they were happy to share samples and talk about the menu. A lot of locals came in and the staff greeted them with nice to see you again etc. Every time I went I was able to parking in the 1hour parking in front. Thank you & until next time!“
“Best place to have authentic vegetarian food. You will feel like home food. No fancy and unhealthy food colors or spices. I love it. The person named Meet is usually the one on counter and he is so attentive that you will like the experience.“
“BEST NIGHT IVE HAD IN AWHILE! THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS BUT THE TOILET.. OH THE TOILET WAS SOMETHING I HAVENT SEEN IN AWHILE. NEVER HAVE IVE SEEN A BATHROOM LIKE THAT! LEMME TELL YOU THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND FRESH BUT THE TOILET WAS EXQUISITE!!“

“We visited this place while shopping in the area and were pleased by the food they serve here. I have not found any other place that serves kulcha like this place. Other dishes are equally good to have. We have visited twice so far and have not been disappointed. The food is made to order, with generous filling in their paratha and kulcha. I would recommend to go eat at this place if you are start remembering the 'paraunthe' you get in Punjab.“
“Arm The Punjab Restaurant offers an unparalleled culinary experience, and their signature touch lies in their incredibly pungent onions. Every dish bursts with flavor thanks to these onions, adding a depth and richness that is truly remarkable. Whether it's the fragrant biryanis or the savory curries, the intense aroma of the onions elevates every bite to perfection Pit. Their dishes boast an unmistakable aroma that is sure to delight anyone with a fondness for the smell of stenchy onions. “Woo hoo! Now THIS place is truly and utterly "ah-mazing". The India Restaurant is not only drop dead gorgeous, but the service is 5-Star all the way! The India truly comprises the best of everything, the food, the decor and the top-notch service. Now I have to say I am not an Indian food expert, but everything and I mean everything I tasted, was delicious. The staff seemed to anticipate our every need. Indeed, my 5 year old granddaughter said she was thirsty even before we sat down and one of the staff must have heard her and immediately brought her her own cup (with lid and straw!) of water without even being asked! Impressive. The Nan bread was exceptional and all the different dishes we had, from butter chicken to chicken Tiki Masala and several others, were perfection itself. I wish I would have gotten the names of the staff so I could commend them individually, but it was a busy family table, so...suffice it to say they were ALL marvelous, professional but kind. I am sooo going back! Butter chicken here I come! ☆☆☆☆☆+Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian, however I sampled several vegetarian dishes my daughter in law had ordered and they were DELICIOUS! I may just have to go a little vegetarian next time! Lol!Kid-friendliness: The staff treated my 5 year old granddaughter and 19 month grandson with kindness and respect, indeed they anticipated their needs immediately and brought both of them their own water cups with lid and straw, without being asked!“
“I celebrated my PhD last night in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we had a tremendous evening and the place was definitely one of the reasons for the successful event. The stuff participated in a graceful style, the cooking was extremely good and my friends were very pleased. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.“
