“The BlackYardhouse in Long Beach is a great choice for happy hour food and beer. We enjoyed the poke nachos (excellent), the Brussels sprouts (also delicious) and a variety of beers. Katie was our server and made our meal even better with her positive and helpful suggestions. This Yard House has the benefit of a great location on the marina, and offers stellar food and beer at terrific happy hour prices. Look no further.“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“Great crispy Brussels sprouts, slightly sweet with bacon, and I loved the bleu cheese on it so much!they must have been out of wine/ champagne glasses for my drink. It was happy hour during the week, not very busy. I’m an out of towner but would probably go again next time and try their sandwiches“

“Great experience for a small company Christmas party here. The new owners are doing it right. Friendly and attentive bartenders, appealing decor and atmosphere, table service was nice. Cocktails were good, food was unique and tasty. Prices were reasonable. Will return.“

“To John Hansen, My wife and I would like to thank you for such a lovely evening. Chez Bacchus represents the “True Expression of a Dining Experience”. Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.“

“According to their website, the hours of closing during the week is at 9pm, went there on Wednesday and it was 8:30 PM and the place was already closed. The staff were there, but everything was put away and I understand that probably it was a slow day yet still you are not honoring your hours of business.“
