Parking: Small parking lot but plenty of street parking. Always find a spot to park.“

“They are so nice here! I am not from this city but my daughter lives here for a little while. We popped into Rusty's because I love Rusty's Pizza pretty much everywhere I Go. This is the first time I have ever had the barbecue chicken pizza. It had nuts on it and I know that sounds crazy but it works. It works so well that I have thought of nothing but that pizza ever since. I hope that the owner can find the funds to repaint and remodel just a little bit, but I love the bright open floor plan, the traditional Rusty's video games, and the self-serve drinks.“

“I have been comming to Wool Growers since I was just a kid. I am 65 now. Moved away about 20 years ago. Tonight is the first time I have eaten here in at least 15 years. Foods was excellent just the way I remember it. Service was great. Some of the faces have changed but the food and service are the same. Thank You so much for a great meal.“

“I had the most authentic Food from Michoacan. It felt like I was a kid again eating the food my mom makes. I had the morisqueta and even the cheese tasted like the one from Mexico. My husband had the aporiadillo and it was also a great flavor and it came with tortillas echas a mano. They have aguas frescas that you can tell where made with love and authentically.“

“Bakersfield has a lot of Mexican restaurants. We had camped in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest for four days and were jonesin' for some Mexican food. We picked Agave based on Google reviews and its proximity to the freeway. We got lucky! The service was good, and the food was great! The smoky salsa they served with the fresh tortilla chips was the first indicator that we had chosen wisely. The chile verde was as good as my mamacita could've made. Even the beans and rice were tasty. We ordered from the lunch menu, but the portions were perfect. Highly recommend!“

“Food is as expected in a premier sushi bar that puts in the effort. What stands out to me is the staff, who welcomed you the moment you open the door, the immediate service when you're seated and the food being on the table before you know it.

The server was never more than five minutes away from checking in and they made sure we lacked nothing.

They also clean the chairs and floor along with the table, whether it looks like it needs it or not. That's attention to detail and top flight standards.

The reasonable (for sushi) prices sure helped in forming this review, too.

“We loved the vibe of the place, starting with the back patio that was tree covered, did not sit out there because there was nobody else sitting out there early in the morning, and the chairs were a little hard. Our server was friendly kept your coffee for an answered any questions that you had about the menu. Our food came up very promptly after ordering, and everything was prepared very nicely I decided to try the biscuits and gravy because I like to do that at a place I’ve never been to when they offer it, the gravy was thick, and had nice chunks of meat in it for flavor. And the biscuit was light and fluffy the eggs Benedict were very good, and I tried the corn beef hash because it was homemade not from a can! I had a good flavor. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hashbrowns were browned perfectly as well. I would definitely revisit if we’re down in Bakersfield again. 😎“
