“I've only been once, so hopefully the next time I will have a great experience as well. I did not eat inside, so I can't speak to that. However, my sons and I ordered a raw sushi and a deep fried sushi, and we all loved our sushi. Service for takeout was awesome! They even asked what car we were in and bought it out to the car! The atmosphere seems cool inside, but we didn't have time to eat there.“

“Jimmies place is inside Mr. D'S which is a nice dive bar to hang out with great parking. Has live music on Wednesdays i believe. I came specifically for the sushi and it was great. The chef served us at the bar as we watched baseball and it was a great experience getting served sushi with the dive bar environment. The place is all cash and has an ATM. For the chef who makes the sushi I give an A for the environment. Great price for the food.“

“Upon entering, there is no sign to indicate wait to be seated so you have to ask. Was a little warm inside but not uncomfortable. Ordered the spicy edamame which was fantastic!!!!! Ask for extra sauce because I dipped the rolls in the sauce. Rolls needed to be a little bigger but were good. Would definitely go back.“

“5 stars for the price. I wanted soup, she wanted sushi, and we live eastside so we didn’t want to enter town to a place with $17 dishes and tip. so this is a nice local gem. it is worth noting though: the sushi rice is not seasoned with vinegar/mirin/sugar/salt like expected— just white rice. it’s understandably labor intensive though. still tasted good.“

The positive reviews are well deserved, and you can add us to the list. Very nice portion size, very tasty, and all meats pork, beef (Mongolian), and cashew chicken were very tender.

“Sat down to have a sushi dinner. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. The server gave us some time to review the menu as it was our 1st time here. The rolls are pretty big, shareable portions. The prices are decent, and the sushi rolls were fresh and made to order. I will visit again soon.“
