“I found a true gem in San Diego during my recent visit.

The tuna melt was incredible—easily the best I’ve ever had—and the fresh fruit smoothie was just as delicious. Beyond the food, I truly appreciated Omar’s hospitality. It is clear that he cares deeply about both health and the community - and is passionate about his business.

I look forward to returning on my next trip to San Diego and will certainly be bringing others with me. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space.“

“Love this place, I eat at El Rincocito Fruteria at least once a week or more. Food is freshly made when you order. The staff are really friendly and polite, and they accommodate you if you have any food restrictions, they have a big menu. Highly recommend.“

“It’s located inside the LA Fitness, and I was a bit thrown off by the vibe. It’s one older guy sitting on a stool, swiping through his phone, and the place looks like it came out of a run-down convenience store with partially handwritten menus of info and special prices I could hardly read. This is not a fancy place by any means and I think I had a mismatch in what I expected vs. what it was, because I was specifically looking for a nicer place to go. But the smoothie is good, hence the high star rating. I got the chocolate peanut butter banana protein smoothie.“

“Stumbled upon this place looking for a coffee like an hour ago. Had good reviews, decided to try it without any recon on what I wanted to order. I asked about the Kos latte and Owner/Cashier said something I didn’t quite hear except pistachio and cold foam. I said yeah, two of those, one for me and one for my wife. Received the drinks and realized it was matcha, which is fine. I wanted coffee coffee but matcha for caffeine would suffice. Took one sip and almost busted. Holy heck was it amazing. Literally one of the best drinks I’ve ever had the pleasure of trying. Easily best matcha I’ve ever had. Perfectly sweet but stayed true to the pistachio and matcha flavor. Amazing. Sadly I don’t live close enough to visit often but I need to come back to try other drinks. Definitely recommend.“

“It was very easy to find and parking on the street, right in front. There was parking in the back but we didn’t use it. We found them on google and were able to peruse their menu prior to arriving. We had the large salad that was made by them after filling out a small order form with what you would like. The proteins were extra. I had the large salad and added egg and chicken. The serving was plentiful and the protein addition was hearty (4 ounces my guess). Two large salads (3 proteins total and two soft drink cans—under $40). My husband needed a restroom and they did not have one for public use. That was a drag. He had to go down the street to find one. The place was relatively clean and there were about 5 booths to choose from. The music was a bit annoying. Staff was friendly!“

“Stopped by Fruity Loco for the first time and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered 3 tacos and a bagel and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The service was great too — Dillion was really friendly and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. You can tell this is a family-run business that actually values its customers. Overall a really good experience and I’ll for sure be coming back.“

The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly, and he even overheard we were visiting from out of town so he recommended some activities and dinner places to try while we were visiting! “I’m so happy I found this place . I got sick of subway so I went to jimmy John’s. But they only have cold subs there . So this being on just past the bike shop behind jimmy John’s was an oasis since I just like sandwiches for lunch lol .. but my boss likes hot sandwiches and this place is like Ike’s sandwiches but bigger and more items like smoothies and pastry’s and all the stuff you’d expect to see at a perfect deli . It’s a hidden gem.
