“I recently moved to South Park a few months ago and walk past this place daily. Got off work early one day and decided to stop in for happy hour. The place was relatively empty but the food and service were great! The honey chili wings were perfectly crisp, saucy, and delicious! Went great with an ice cold Pilsner. Will definitely be back to try out the dinner menu soon.“

“We had a lovely experience at Tour de Tapas. I feel like this restaurant is what the village needed! The space felt clean and welcoming, the food was delicious and the wine incredible! We loved everything we got - the caprese salad was fresh and tasty and we loved the chocolate mousse dessert!! Everything was so reasonably priced and it did not compromise on flavor or quality. We can be a bit hard to please when going out to eat but this place did not disappoint. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks for a great evening to the Tour de Tapas staff!“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Our server (I believe his name was Carter) was exceptional and very accommodating. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and flavorful. They also have a wide array of tasty cocktails to choose from. The only critique I have is the portion size. I don't mind paying a premium and I acknowledge the quality but the value should be commensurate with the cost. Otherwise, we had an excellent experience. Highly recommend.“

“My husband and I had the absolute pleasure to dine at Juniper and Ivy for our 33 year anniversary. Not only did they have special menus for us, but we had a complete and very special experience start to finish.The staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable. We had what I would consider the best seats in the restaurant. We sat up at the kitchen bar, and were treated to an amazing dinner and “show “ The kitchen crew were so impressive and friendly to each other and us. We had such a great experience, that we canceled reservations at another restaurant on the same block for later in the week, so we could come back and try more. Same amazing experience at the next visit. Highly recommend, when we come back to SD we will prioritize another visit. Thank you so much for such a great experience!“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Osteria Cotto e Mangiato! The service from Andrea (owner) was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every dish we ordered was incredible-from the rich, comforting Carbonara w/anchovies to the Captain's Treasure chest is unexplainable good, everything was cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and care in each bite. This place is a gem in San Diego for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. Oh, by the way, did I mention the Tiramisu... WOW!! “Started with the Spicy Heights with the volcano heat level. It was the perfect spice temperature where I am about to break a sweat. Restaurants need to commit to catering to an authentic high spice level, and this place delivered!

Also, ordered the Crunchy Roll. It is shrimp with eel sauce and I loved it.

“Great outdoor space, very roomy, open and good for family/kid time if need be. But not kid like, very shishi if no kids. Big opening from bar to outside area, like a resort should have. The bar inside is gorgeous, super cool, and roomy too. Perfect to stow away or get together with a big group. 6 hour validation parking close to the bar!!!“

“After dining at Buona Forchetta, I can't imagine enjoying pizza and pasta anywhere else in San Diego. From the moment you step in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel like you're family. They're sociable, upbeat, and ready to make your meal a memorable one. Our dinner began with two different wines. I'm a wine enthusiast, and I didn't snap any photos or recall their names, but rest assured, their wine recommendations are spot-on. The Regina Margherita pizza was a revelation. With its incredibly flavorful thin crust and the heavenly sauce, it was a pizza-lover's dream come true. The Spaghetti in Due Pomodori was, hands down, the best pasta dish I've tasted in California. With a simple yet tantalizing blend of organic tomatoes, garlic, and basil, it was sheer perfection. The nightly special, Pollo Milanese, was another hit. The chicken was tender, brimming with flavor, and cooked to perfection. And then came the desserts. We indulged in every option on the menu, and each one was a delight. They also have some good local beer and the food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I also like the atmosphere. Very laid back and always playing good music. I recommend it. Their happy hour is every day from 3-5.“

You can't go wrong with their authentic pasta dishes, which taste like they were made with the love and care only a Nonna would be capable of crafting. We chose to sit outside, 2 of the 4 outdoor heaters were not working. But the hostess kindly moved us closer to a functional one as soon as it was available. The serving assistants were great and even offered to take pictures for us. I appreciate their attentiveness and care. Overall this is a must try. While they may be a little short staffed with servers, you can't have a bad meal here. The food and atmosphere won't disappoint.“
