I Had a small birthday gathering in the patio & it was perfectly set-up & the arrangement of the seating allowed me to see & talk with the guest celebrating with me. We fit 35 comfortably. “I recently moved to South Park a few months ago and walk past this place daily. Got off work early one day and decided to stop in for happy hour. The place was relatively empty but the food and service were great! The honey chili wings were perfectly crisp, saucy, and delicious! Went great with an ice cold Pilsner. Will definitely be back to try out the dinner menu soon.“

“Such a great spot whether it’s for a family dinner, catching up with friends, or on a romantic date. The decor is adorable and gives it such a cozy feel. The prices are very reasonable. We tried many items from the menu. They were all delicious and the wine was also fantastic. Our favorite dishes were the bruschetta and mussels. The crepes Suzette and chocolate mousse were also delicious. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be going back!“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Our server (I believe his name was Carter) was exceptional and very accommodating. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and flavorful. They also have a wide array of tasty cocktails to choose from. The only critique I have is the portion size. I don't mind paying a premium and I acknowledge the quality but the value should be commensurate with the cost. Otherwise, we had an excellent experience. Highly recommend.“

“We had a business dinner here and I'm still thinking about the whole experience a week later. The food is a culinary explosion in your mouth. Highly recommend getting several things and sharing with the table. The risotto and seafood pasta were incredible. I cannot even describe the flavors. The cocktails were also indescribably brilliant. Our server was perfect. She was friendly but professional. She had the perfect balance of being on top of everything, but not being on top of us. All around perfect experience.“

“Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. I had the vegan ramen (excellent, added kimchi dumplings), a sweet potato bao bun (yum), and crispy tofu. The last two items are part of the happy hour menu, which is a great deal. The owner came out, spoke to me for a bit, and brought back an off-menu dish if yakitori trumpet mushrooms that were beautiful. This is definitely a new go-to for me!“

“Started with the Spicy Heights with the volcano heat level. It was the perfect spice temperature where I am about to break a sweat. Restaurants need to commit to catering to an authentic high spice level, and this place delivered!

Also, ordered the Crunchy Roll. It is shrimp with eel sauce and I loved it.

“After dining at Buona Forchetta, I can't imagine enjoying pizza and pasta anywhere else in San Diego. From the moment you step in, the warm and friendly staff make you feel like you're family. They're sociable, upbeat, and ready to make your meal a memorable one. Our dinner began with two different wines. I'm a wine enthusiast, and I didn't snap any photos or recall their names, but rest assured, their wine recommendations are spot-on. The Regina Margherita pizza was a revelation. With its incredibly flavorful thin crust and the heavenly sauce, it was a pizza-lover's dream come true. The Spaghetti in Due Pomodori was, hands down, the best pasta dish I've tasted in California. With a simple yet tantalizing blend of organic tomatoes, garlic, and basil, it was sheer perfection. The nightly special, Pollo Milanese, was another hit. The chicken was tender, brimming with flavor, and cooked to perfection. And then came the desserts. We indulged in every option on the menu, and each one was a delight. We didn't leave a crumb behind. I highly encourage you to channel your inner foodie and savor each one, just like we did!“

“Great outdoor space, very roomy, open and good for family/kid time if need be. But not kid like, very shishi if no kids. Big opening from bar to outside area, like a resort should have. The bar inside is gorgeous, super cool, and roomy too. Perfect to stow away or get together with a big group. 6 hour validation parking close to the bar!!!“

“if you go during happy hour it's the most affordable pizza I've had in SD, along with it being very close to the best pizza I've had. The crust was phenomenal although there isn't a lot of cheese on the pizza and the sauce is a little thin. Still very highly recommend going during happy hour. A 12” pizza was less costly than the wine!“
