“The workers are always so kind and ready to greet you with a smile. The restaurant is always clean and has a welcoming feeling as soon as u enter. The dishes are always clean in the mornings, not like other restaurants where you see dirty spots on the cups. It's just amazing service especially on Sundays the busy days. Props to everyone working there. The owner really knows how to manage a restaurant. I will recommend many friends and family to eat here knowing they'll leave satisfied. The young looking guy that's always wearing an apron on Sundays and sweeping, working nonstop is always saying hi to everyone and very kind. He looks like a hardworker.
Vegetarian options: They have plenty of yummy vegetarian options. Just let them know what your craving and they will accommodate.
Parking: They have plenty of parking. And extra parking.
Kid-friendliness: The workers are always very sweet and patient with the kids. My daughter loves going to give them hugs.“

“Pleasantly surprised by this place. First time trying it as I’m looking to make 2023 a year I explore new food places. This was my first new place of the year and I’m glad I found them! Friendly people and don’t be fooled by the small frontage. Hole in the wall places are the best. I also liked their happy hour menu….I was there for lunch but will be going back for happy hours and dinners😃“

“I’ve been to this sushi spot several times and always appreciated their variety and freshness. However, during my most recent visit, the rice was noticeably stiff and tasted as if it might have been old. Hoping this was just an off day, as I’ve usually enjoyed their food!“

“Went in for Taco Tuesday and was greeted by who I’m assuming is the owner—super courteous and polite. The tacos were delicious! They come with all the essentials, and the meat was high quality. The sauces were flavorful and actually had some real heat, which I appreciated. Cheap and bomb. Definitely coming back to this family-owned spot. Loved the whole experience“

“This place is pupper approved! We were doing laundry close by and my pupper kept begging to go in. The staff were so sweet about her refusal to leave the doorway. They talked sweetly to her each time and laughed with her. Unfortunately we did not have time to try their pizza or subs but the customer service was top notch!“

“I keep coming back to this place although I originally went to the one in Point Loma / Ocean Beach. The servers here are always nice and the food is predictably good. The one thing I go here for and always order is the guacamole taco although I have frequently got the carne asada chips with guacamole also. I've tried other things and everything has been good but those are my favorites. I don't know of any other restaurant that serves a guacamole taco and if they do I'm sure it isn't nearly as good as the one here. It's always delicious and I look forward to coming back for it! The place always looks clean. There's plenty of parking in the lot next door where the Jo-Ann's used to be and the GT M is located now. And their prices are still very reasonable. I paid $8 for two tacos. Anytime you can get a meal for under $10 these days, 2024, it's great.“
