“What's better late night snack than Ave 26 tacos? It's located in a parking lot, and we pulled in around 10pm on a Sunday night. People from all colors and all walks of life seem to converge here in search of scrumptious bites. There's a security guard that patrols the area so you could enjoy your chow without hesitation. It's standing room only, no utensils or sitting area provided. We decided to eat in the car as it's a bit chilly that night. There's also a portable water station to wash hands before or after you dig in.

There's a separate line for tacos or burritos or drinks, pay in cash or Apple/ Samsung Pay. Simple and orderly. Then, head over to the condiments section for different types of salsa, chopped onions or lime. The Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Cabeza and Lengua are usually my go to, but there're also brisket, pork belly, chorizo to choose from.“

“What a Lovely surprise ! We saw it on the way and decided to stop by. The team mostly composed by female chefs was very kind and helpful and the food they make is just delicious. The fries were one of the best fries I’ve had in LA and topped with cheese and Birria it was just heaven 👌“

“I’ve been laid up recovering from a major surgery recently. So I’ve been making a point to order from a lot of the local restaurants. Mexican food is my comfort food go to so I’ve been hitting up all of the locals.

I ordered the posole and the albondigas soup.

Albondigas: the broth was thicker and richer than a lot of others. It was generously filled with the meatballs and plenty of vegetables. You get a large container and it’s absolutely delicious.

Posole: again, the broth was very thick and Rich. They might thicken it with tortilla chips, which is a common thing, but the flavors are there. Large chunks of slow cooked pork. Very good lean chunks that are fall apart tender. No grizzly bits or extra extraneous fat. Was absolutely a pleasure to eat and hit every single spot.

Overall, this place is a fantastic little gem. The homemade flour tortillas just add an extra little delight to the entire meal. I couldn’t be happier than to have this place in my backyard. If you’re considering going, it’s gonna be very hard to find something you don’t like about their food“

“Even if not stopping on the way home, the charcoal aroma makes their asada of the best fills the street almost everyday providing comfort for us in the neighborhood. As many reviews mention the pastor, it is worth its weight in gold. I bounce back and forth getting each.

My only wish, alongside one review, is that they were on the spicier side... Definitely doesnt diminish the pure excellence of this place though and they're of the best. I'll be back soon and thank you for being in the neighborhood.“

“I've been coming to this establishment since I was about 6-7 years old I'm 34 now and this place hasn't changed much besides the price and it's not much more than before. Quality will never change, flavor will always be amazing, and the customer service beyond excellent. There's always a line but trust me when I tell you it's always worth the freaking wait. I will not post the tacos because I rather keep them a surprise for yourself. Trust me when I said one is MORE than enough. Save room for dessert or something else at another nearby stand/establishment. Birria, carnitas and cabeza are my absolute go-to options. From making the reservation, changing the reservation and handling of an additional person last minute to our reservation for 12, was done with great ease. The food was delicious. The service was stupendous. It was a fun time had by all. I would certainly recommend it for a large gathering or to sit at the bar by yourself, and anything in between.“

I can’t say enough how incredibly delicious this restaurant was. I called my friend, Dan R (Legendary, Venice, Photographer, and the world ) for a recommendation on some delicious Mexican food. He laughed and said Tacomiando (why he was laughing just delivered him food from the restaurant… he said this is definitely the best in the area and he was not mistaken. This food from the cleanliness of the restaurant to how nice and helpful the staff was I always judge a restaurant on their chips. As well, I can honestly say these chips were incredible along with everything I’ve tried. I almost forgot to mention they’re incredible salsa bar. Hope you can see in the photo, but it was quite extensive. ✨🤩😍
