“For the first time in twenty or so years the dinner was a disappointment. The veal marsala was edible but bland and certainly not up to it's standard. The penne caprisio was flavored (??????) with a watery sauce yhat was best eaten with a spoon....the dish was returned and rebuilt with some moderate sauce that was not up to any standart....the lasagna was great“

“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“What a cool concept. Stumbled across this place on the 4th of July for an early lunch. My wife said she heard about it on instagram so we figured we’d give it a try. The guy working was super personable and helpful. Overall great ambiance and great price. Obviously it’s a holiday and it’s kinda dead inside but seems like a really cool place. The food was excellent! The Tommy is the one to get for sure!“

“Max was absolutely fantastic! From the moment my son and I walked in, we were greeted with a huge smile and a warm welcome. He took the time to introduce us to the menu and recommended the happy hour specials, which we happily ordered.

This was honestly some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Max was attentive throughout our visit, kept our drinks filled, and even suggested adding a side of mushrooms to our pizza, which was delicious!

We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly personable. We spent some time chatting, which made the experience feel even more welcoming.

I’m so glad we found this hidden gem! We’ll definitely be back—for the live music, after-school dinners, and even a midday snack after haircut appointments. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for the outstanding service and delicious pizza!

“It’s been a while since we’ve been to The Place, and it will now become a part of our regular places in Roseville. The food and service are excellent. The Place has an old and authentic Italian feel about it. We started with the seasonal caprese salad, which included heirloom tomatoes, and it was wonderful. The rosemary focaccia bread is amazing, and hard to not fill up on it before our pasta. We had the Macceroni e Formaggio and added meatballs and the Boscaiola add Italian sausage. Both were delicious and large servings, leftovers were plenty for another meal. Pretty much everything on the menu looks great. Good selection of wine, beer, and craft cocktails. Next time we’re going to split a salad and pizza; they have a wonderful selection of Neapolitan-style pizza. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend The Place and encourage making reservations. Enjoy!!“

“Great food from this company in general but when I came to this location specifically the asian dude who helped me really hooked me up mentioning i could upgrade to a meal deal and actualy save money on my pizza so I got a soda and paid less.

“Five stars all the way friendly service a few tables inside for seating, came in and ordered ahead and went to the gym across the street got medium combo and chicken Fresco. Everything very fresh I really like the dough and cheese stretched with every slice. I would be back again definitely recommend.“

“The last 4 times I've ordered pizza for the kids have been from Pizza Twist. This is a new favorite and my new go to for a quick pizza. The place is welcoming and the staff is pleasant. The pizza itself is amazing. Personally, I think this pizza is much better than Round Table Pizza or Mt. Mike's, for a more reasonable price.
