“My favorite sushi spot in Livermore! Reasonable prices compared to many others, friendly and fast service whether I get take out or dine-in. Amazing fish quality and quantity. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and a clean, modern design but it is smaller so I wouldn’t recommend dine-in for large parties, even though I’m sure they would accommodate.
Highly recommend the deep fried oysters!“
“* DETAILED foodie review here * (disclosure: i alwaz write shorthand) 3.5 stars... we used to come for late nite noms & togo, but haven’t been for yrs...forget y we stopped... T H E “F E E L S” . . . inside Parkwest Casino 580...nice decór, but casual AF vibes (see my service rant below)...if coming in thru the casino entrance, there’s a dark seating area on the right, tall high 4-tops on the left, & a small bar at end...randos also sit by the front of the casino & have food delivered there while taking a gambling break... T H E N O M S . . . HH: wkdays 4-7p & 10p-12a, wknds 9a-4p... we ordered the following (see my yelp pix)... - Lemongrass Chix Satay w/ Asian Slaw choice, 5. | reg. 9. | u wouldn’t even notice the bare hint of the herb...rather, drenched in that sweet & sour thai chili sauce... - Angus Beef Sliders (2pc), 5. | reg. (3pc & fries), 9. | sweet onion & vermont white cheddar aioli, which were tasty... - Shaking Beef “Bò Lúc Lác” (not!), 12. | bell peppers, red & green onions, w/ rice, carrots & daikon pickles | dry AF...skip... T H E “D R A N K S” . . . HH wines, 4. HH beers, sm 4., lrg 6. full bar avail... T H E S E R V I C E . . . omfg, 1st waitress straight up jus stood there flirting w/ guys & wouldn’t knowledge us waiting nxt to her to be seated!...she finally threw us at a dirty table & cleared it w/o cleaning it... 2nd waitress was zoomin’ by swamped AF, but she tried to help...we asked her to wipe the table & start w/ water, which she agreed to, but nvr came thru with... after being there for literally 25mins w/o really any f’ing service, i got up to walk towards the bar & caught the attn of the male bartender...he was very apologetic tho it wasn’t his fault at all...Bobby took over & went out of his way to make things right...we, esp being former restauranteurs, were very impressed...he’s an asset to any customer svc position... N U T S H E L L . . . tho mostly casino players filling their stomachs here, it’s a good spot w/ decent grub & prices for late nite eats as there r really no other sit-downs in the area past 10p...that’s if u don’t mind being ignored by waitresses for almost 1/2hr til u go bug a kool bartender, smh...maybe that was y we stopped coming yrs ago?... out the door for 2ppl: 32.“

“Ordered for the first time today! We ordered the Ooolong Tea, Watermelon Smoothie, Honey Popcorn Chicken and Fish and Chips. They were all excellent and the pricing was perfect! Just the right amount of food for the price :-) I tried my better half's Ooolong Tea and liked it. I probably would have liked it more if it was hot instead of cold, but that is just me. My watermelon Smoothie was delicious!!! Very good for a 95 degree day :-) I tried my better half's Honey Popcorn Chicken too. It was good even though I am not into sweet meats, like orange chicken ;-) My fish and chips were delicious. I got 4 pieces of fish with my order and a good amount of french fries with it. I probably should have ordered another tartar sauce, because I LOVE tartar sauce with my fried fish. All in all, we devoured everything and would definitely try more items on the menu :-) Thanks Daniel Zien for introducing us to T4 Livermore!“

“I’ve only been here once but tried a variety of dishes and they were all very good. It was hard to find the restaurant at first, it’s in the shopping center on the border of Pleasanton and Livermore and it’s inside a food court in that shopping center. You walk in and it’s the first restaurant on the right. They have an incredible menu of Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The momo is succulent with different sauce options. The noodles were freshly stir fried with a good amount of seasoning and oil. I liked their butter chicken and rice too but the portion was a little small. I will definitely return to try the other chow mein.“

“I am a big fan of spicy fried chicken sandwiches and Korean food is properly spicy. I think their secret is that everything is breaded and fried to order. So yes, your order of fried wings will take 20 minutes. But, boy is it worth it! The other flavors aren't quite as good but the meat is moist and texture is crispy. They do have a bunch of other Korean dishes like jap chae and ttaeoboki that are reasonably well done but those aren't the reason to come here.“

“First time having Tandoori Pizza in Dublin, great desi flavored pizza, fresh ingredients and many options to choose from. Even have Thumbs Up to go along with the Pizza and have a variety of appetizers as well. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back again!“

“Are you Team Hot Pot OR Team Dry Pot? If I can't have both, then I'm prob Team Dry Pot when it comes to malatang! For those who love building their own bowls, you have to bookmark this place! The concept is fun and simple. Grab a bowl, fill it with ingredients you want, weigh it (they charge by weight), then let the cashier know your pot preference (soup or dry) and spice levels.
The spice levels are serious here, so be ready to break a sweat. They have a little sauce bar too which adds a nice touch to both types of bowls. Pricing is fair here, especially if you get mostly meat, and I definitely had enough leftovers for another meal to take back.“

“We hosted an event at Curry Kona. and I must tell you, what a smooth process it has been while planning, coordination, deciding menu, etc. with Sheena. She is very accommodating and welcoming. She and her staff were on their toes before, during and after the event. Loved the Kathi Rolls and appetizers. All the guests went home happy. She showed utmost hospitality and happily customized the food for one of our guests due to some dietary restrictions. Highly recommend this place.“

“Just had a great meal at Viet Noms in Livermore, and it’s definitely one of the better Vietnamese spots in the Tri-Valley. The space is clean, modern, and inviting — it feels more polished than your typical pho joint but still keeps the homey vibe.
Their pho is a clear highlight: the broth is rich and aromatic, with just the right balance of spices and sweetness. Portions are huge — easily one of the more generous bowls I’ve had around here. Noodles have good bite, and the meat is tender and flavorful. Great for a chilly day or when you’re just craving comfort food done right.
The bún bò Huế (BBH) really surprised me — it’s one of the most potent, deeply flavored versions I’ve had outside of San Jose. The broth hits with that spicy, lemongrass-heavy kick you want in BBH. I do wish the meat cuts were a bit chunkier and that they included pork blood cubes for full authenticity, but even without that, it’s still a satisfying bowl.
The salad was fresh but a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal — maybe better as a light starter.
What really rounds out the experience is the service. Staff here are super friendly, fast, and genuinely attentive. They make you feel welcome without hovering, which is the sweet spot for casual dining.
Overall, Viet Noms delivers quality Vietnamese food in a setting that’s both relaxed and polished. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Livermore or passing through. Try the pho, go for the BBH if you like spice, and enjoy the vibe.“
