“so three of us stopped in on a random Sunday and honestly it was the best spontaneous decision weve made in months. the woman pouring our wine was so patient and let us try things we had no business asking about and actually talked to us like normal people not like we were tourists. I dont even like red wine usually but the Earthquake Cabernet had me wanting to buy two bottles to bring home. We shared a cheese plate and a fig toast thing that i was skeptical about but it ended up being the perfect salty sweet little bite. the whole patio area is beautiful and shaded and we ended up staying way longer than we planned just because nobody rushed us. that kind of afternoon is rare for me and it honestly made my whole week feel lighter. will definitely be coming back the next chance I get.“

Vegetarian options: Lots of different salads and fruits
Kid-friendliness: Inside, but feels airy, keeping kids happier. Maybe you'll even get to see an airplane land, or take off“

“Very friendly mother/son operation. Juat be sure to double check if ordering through third party - it looks like orders are manually copied for drink instructions. Ordered a 25% sugar and got a label saying 100%. Other than that, standard happy lemon, always a solid/reliable option.“
“Between Jackson and Stockton on Highway 12/88 in Lockeford halfway between the two is the best place to stop and get a cup of coffee so Chelsea next time you're in the area coming up to visit and Jason wants a cup of coffee treat yourself and stop at Day-O espresso. It's better than that one that's on every street corner from Seattle I think and not as expensive.“

“Swung by this cafe for breakfast after the end of a long week and work trip. Kimberly was our server, truly an angel. She immediately made us feel at home, she was so kind and wonderful. She stopped and talked to us for a bit and it was such a light at the end of our trip. Will definitely come back if we are in the area, she made our week! The food was also fast, hot and delicious. Highly recommend. Thank you again!“

“I have been going to Empresso for their great coffee for many years back when they were in the Stockton Royal theatre. I highly recommend the Mexican Mocha, the BLT, and the bacon egg sandwich. Empresso is also my daughter’s favorite, and she loves the Caramello.“
