“Wonderful time celebrating a friend‘s birthday over Saturday brunch! The atmosphere is off-the-charts beautiful, and the restaurant and staff are just lovely. Crabcakes Benedict on homemade biscuits, and the spring salad with chicken were just wonderful. Props to our waiter, William! He hunted down a candle for us for the warm brownie sundae for the birthday girl, which we devoured before poking around the plants, pottery and gift shops. Can’t wait to go back. Love this place!“

Salami, Capocola, Prosciutto, Mortadella, Housemade Marinara, Melted Provolone ( I opted for pepper jack), Onions and Pepperoncinis!!!! I'll be back for the pastrami though too. Count on it!😊“

“This place is a true gem! My husband and I have ate here twice now and we have NOT been disappointed. Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. Whether you want savory or sweet there's something for everyone!“

“This is what I would recommend as elegant dinning with attentive service. If you are looking for a place to impress your partner they set the standard for attentive service. From the time you enter to the time you leave it's all about you and your guests. Started out the "Ahi Tuna Tartare" then the "Slow Roasted Short Rib" and for dessert I had the "Ukrainian Honey Cake". The Tuna Tartar, with the Moroccan Spices stood out for me, this is not poke. But it was all about the beef. I have not had a better Short Rib anywhere else. Cook perfectly with good flavor on a bed of sweet corn with a splash of gravy. They have salt and pepper on the table, but if you feel a need to use, their is something wrong with you. Now the dessert, I took a risk with the "Honey", the word "Honey" just stands out as to sweet. You know the Winny the Poo thing. But it had a right balance with the berries and Chantilly creme. Went well with a fresh cup of coffee. Prices are reasonable. Remember your not just coming here for just the food, you'll be experiencing an attentive special night out. Enjoy.“

What started as a spontaneous date day adventure led us to the charming streets of Historic Folsom, where we stumbled upon Plank’s Craft Kitchen & Bar — a rustic gem with just the right mix of cozy and cool. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was impeccable. The service? Flawless. Our server was on point from start to finish — warm welcome, perfectly timed courses, and not once did our glasses go dry. Everything flowed with such ease, it felt like we were regulars. Drinks first, because priorities: • The Lake Lennon was a total hit — crisp, refreshing, and that subtle hint of cucumber was chef’s kiss. • The Strawberry Gimlet was almost too easy to drink. Sweet, smooth, and gone in the blink of an eye. • The Bees Knees packed the strongest punch of the three, but when I asked for a splash of lemonade to mellow it out, they happily brought it over — instantly elevated the whole experience. Appetizer: We went with the cheese curds, and let me tell you, these weren’t your average bar snack. Lightly crisped on the outside, gooey on the inside, and paired with a homemade marinara that deserves its own spotlight. I genuinely contemplated licking the bowl. No shame. The tater tots were golden and perfectly crunchy, and the trio of dipping sauces (chipotle, ranch, and ketchup) were clearly house-made and next-level tasty. In short, Plank’s delivered big time. “I have lived in Foresthill, CA for over 40 years. I Remember the days when Black Bear opened. Every time I have family in Area, just need a great burger, little late going home and do not want to cook or just because i want a meal, I have ate at Brown Bear so many times over the last 40 years. Over 500 times with over 2000 customers with me. Understand, I have Managed restaurants for 20 years and it is one of those things that I can do. I can see behind the scene by seeing the front. In other words, I do not have to walk in the back in order to understand if it is clean, keeped, managed. By seeing all the rest it tells me if Management and Employees are following values and procedures which makes a great restaurant. I have never had any issue with the Auburn, CA restaurant. Not one. Great food, great portioned size meals, fresh items, friendly seivice, and most important very clean. Even down to the lights and bottom side of tables. I also should add that for the price, I personally think it is great because I love having half of my meal 5 hours later. Visit Auburn Brown Bear Restaurant and prove me wrong.“

“This is a small local Auburn business. The owner cooked the food for us with a smile and great customer service! Came here with kids, and they loved the burgers, too. The price is a little expensive, but it's worth it. Got pickled fries. you must try if you are adventurous. Free parking on the back, and great sitting indoor and outside. Great jewel of Aulburn!“

“I think this is a nice hidden gem in Roseville. The atmosphere and decor is great and the place is clean. Though I'm still wondering how the hundreds of toothpicks are impaled into the ceiling.
The price was better than most burger restaurants and the tomato/vegetables was very fresh.
The Squeeze Hotdog looked amazing and everything tasted great (not too salty either).

“The strawberry shake was I believe was vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam. Not good, a short cut that's not worth it. Biscuit was strange, hard at the lower part and just seemed it was frozen and then thawed and had strange flavor. The sausage in omelet has a undesirable flavor. Best if they would use new York brand or a good American type sausage. The potato salad was good but had a strong off flavor. And too much mustard. I was given in a bag a napkin, fork, knife and spoon, two name brand jams, butter that was just right.
But no salt or pepper. And again only one napkin.“

Parking: There's only a few parking spots located in front of the restaurant, and a little bit more on the street. Your best bet is to park in the parking garage that's walking distance— only 2-3 min away.“

“Me with husb love Land Ocean and come here all the time. It’s our favorite restaurant because the food is always delicious, and the atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly and unobtrusive. I always order my favorite dish, the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, which is amazing. The desserts and cocktails are also top-notch. I think this is the best place in Roseville. You should visit and see for yourself!

“Got right in, sever was prompt with taking our drink orders. Once we got the drinks she got our food orders. My son ordered the Wolfman Jack breakfast and asked for french toast instead of the pancakes. He was told they can't do that. He has my had that done on previous visits there? That's poor customer service. I ordered salad as a side. Got it two minutes before the entrees came. More training needed there. Had iced tea. Never was asked for a refill. Other than that the food was good.“

“We had an to Roy in Granite Bay and decided to try this since it was close by. So glad we found it! I love the atmosphere and location. Food was terrific and staff was very friendly. The Farm Bowl was delicious. My 12 year old can be a picky eater so thankfully there was a special of braised beef sliders, which he loved. Happy to recommend it. We need to come back for breakfast.“

“Best BBQ we have ever had! We travel from Citrus Heights to Auburn just for the food and the friendship! Keep up the good work! Singh smokes his own meat and has his own homemade BBQ sauce. We have tried his chicken and his ribs and they are always A+++ in our books. We always have his macaroni salad as well. You won’t go wrong with anything on his menu. WE would give it more than 5 stars if we could.“
