“What a great hidden gem in Los Alamitos! I ordered an Americana bagel on jalapeño bread, a hot tea and an iced vanilla chai, everything was delicious. Plus they have ice nugget machine which I prefer instead of the big ice chunks for iced drinks!
The iced vanilla chai was SO good, much much better than its big corporation competitors. I will definitely come again. Both girls behind the counter were very kind and patient and gave me the WiFi password and gave me recommendations. They really made you feel at ease. What a delight to visit, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good prices, good food and yummy drinks!“

“Today was the first time I've ever tried Nick's bagels. It was amazing! So buttery and delicious. Best I've ever had. I wanted to bring in something for my staff this morning and it was a hit. Someone brought in donuts as well and the dozen of bagles were gone well before the donuts. Great customer service, they were kind enough to cut them all in half for me and I was in and out in 10 minutes. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you!!!“

“Atmosphere is nice, not a lot of choices to sit but overall a nice place to stop and get coffee with friends. I got a caramel English toffee latte and it was great! Staff was very nice and attentive to my request for a “half sweet” coffee and were willing to add more/less syrup as requested! Overall 9/10 recommended“

“Fresh Bagels & Cafe is a popular local spot for bagels, breakfast, and lunch. Even on busy days, the food and service don't disappoint. The kind and hardworking staff can get you in and out quickly. I've been enjoying the food here for a few years.

I appreciate the variety of freshly baked bagels, along with a selection of cream cheese flavors. A few favorite items include toasted bagels with lox-flavored cream cheese, breakfast/omelette bagel sandwiches, and the Lox City bagel, which is perfect for hungrier mornings. The hot coffee options are good with your standard creams, sugars, and spices.

The traditional and specialty sandwiches served on a Dutch Crunch roll are also delicious. Additional food items include classic muffins, fresh rolls, croissants, and flavored cream cheeses to take home. The drinks available feature a variety of coffees, juices, smoothies, boba, teas, and more.

The ambiance is very cute, Palm Springs motel vibe. “The oven was down for the coffee shop. I usually go to so I was looking for a breakfast place that was no fuss and fairly quick and easy for me to just get something to eat. Something cross my mind to check out some bagels and I looked around and saw this location that seemed to fit what I was looking for. it’s a fairly quiet and seem to have younger people that come to this location. The girls that were working, there were very polite and very sweet and very helpful with what I was looking for. Considering I wasn’t sure what I wanted to eat, they were very helpful with me. I ended up ordering the veggie breakfast bagel without sprouts and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. It was loaded with eggs and in this economy, I feel like I struck gold. I wish to take a photo, but I will definitely come back to order it again and maybe something else and take all the photos. If you’re in a mood for breakfast bagels, I recommend giving this place a shot!

I also left with a blueberry bagel and jalapeño and cheese bagel.

“Got 4 items for $31: 2 Large drinks 1 medium drink (ranging from $5-$6) and a bagel that cost ~$14. It was all yummy especially the thai tea and cookies and cream. The bagel shop is filled with cute funny bagel decorations as well which added a nicer touch. Will be coming here again!“

The bagels and big, soft and fresh and they are almost always very generous with the cream cheese (which I really love).I also like their bagel sandwiches, the lattes - blended or hot - and the bagel bombs too. In all honesty, I haven’t had anything there I don’t like.Other bonus perks: a rewards program that lets you earn free items and a kid’s corner to keep the little ones entertained!
