All the items were hot , fresh and served with a friendly smile. The location itself was clean. “As a relocated Chicagoan--who grew up near and ate all the time at SuperDawg on Milwaukee Avenue--I consider myself something of a Chicago Dog connoisseur. And I keep my finger on the pulse of good Chicago Dogs available in and around Los Angeles.

Mustard's deserves a great mention on that front. They know how how to maker a great Chicago Dog, and I will eat at their place most anytime I am in the area.

I have eaten here a number of times, and there is always two or three other tables having Chicago Dogs with me. I think they get a lot of Chicago expats--and I cannnot think of a better complement for a place.

“I stopped by this donut place the other morning and it honestly made my day. The moment I walked in, the smell of fresh donuts filled the whole shop. You could tell everything was made fresh because the trays were constantly being restocked.

I ordered a glazed donut and a cup of coffee, and the donut was warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The glaze had that light crisp on the outside but melted as soon as I took a bite. It paired perfectly with the coffee.

“Hole in the wall mom and pop shop vibes. Run with excellent, prompt service and quality food and drinks. Don't let the rough exterior fool you, they do breakfast correctly. We went with a big group on a road trip out of town and we were able to try a lot of things as a group. Everyone was very happy. It's not flashy but that's ok it's not trying to be. They just serve good food and drinks, they know who they are serving. Regular folks on the way to work.

We ordered the made-to-order beignets and a bear claw. Fresh beignets are surprisingly hard to find in California, so that alone made this place stand out. They came out hot, light, fluffy, and generously dusted with powdered sugar, absolutely worth ordering.

The bear claw was just as impressive. It was soft, fresh, and had a wonderfully fluffy texture that made it hard to stop eating.

One thing I really appreciated was the huge variety of donuts they offer. Their yeast-raised donuts are especially good, pillowy, airy, and clearly made fresh. Everything we tried tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen.

“This is a mom and pop donut shop on 7th street. Stopped by a few weeks ago to grab some donuts. They tasted like any other sugary goodness that contributes to diabetes. The location is convenient since it’s right next to the freeway entrance so that’s why I stopped by. The place is clean, well organized with couple seating inside as well as outside. Got a couple donuts and an iced coffee…didn’t know that it’s VNese iced coffee so it’s abit sweet for me and the cost for it is almost $7 (yike) but it’s in a nice cup. Donuts are nice and soft with nicely generous filling. Will coffee and a stuffed filling lemon donut & 6 donut holes cost $11 (rounded up), yup, the iced coffee cost more then I expected, but it’s good overall. He can't have breakfast, but I can, so.. Cherri's it is. The donuts are soft, and tasty. Not bland and bready like some places. The icing was sweet, but not overpowering, the maple bars, mmm. These arenmy kryptonite, and it's so hard to find good ones. Cherri's not only has good maple bars, they have GREAT MAPLE BARS!!!!

“Decided to check this place out early morning and there was already a line at 6:20 on a Saturday. Have not tried the donuts yet but they look amazing. I also got the roast beef sandwich on croissant and she asked me if I wanted jalapeños which, of course I did. The best part is I was going to put the dozen donuts in my car and before I can even get out the door, she already have my sandwich ready. It definitely has that old-school feeling and the sandwich was on point. Next time I am in Anaheim. It’s a must to hit this place again. Walked out spending $27 on a bakers dozen which is 13 donuts and a roast beef sandwich. Absolutely amazing and the people are fantastic so inviting.“

“My second time here, but many more visits to come. The donuts are fresh, the sandwiches are made fresh, the Vietnamese coffee is the perfect blend of sweet with a strong coffee flavor. I ordered the #2 sandwich, ham egg and cheese on white bread, and I asked them to heat up the ham because I am pregnant and cannot eat cold deli meat, they did it no problem! For such a simple sandwich, it is filled with flavor! 10/10 will reccomend others to try this place out.“
