“If you're in the mood for Mediterranean food; this is the place to go in Orange County. I eat here once a week and the food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. This a fast casual establishment so you have to order at the register first and they bring your meal to the table when its ready. The staff at the register are always polite and will help you with the vast menu choices if needed. The kabobs and salads are outstanding and don't forget to try the delicious chicken soup which is freshly made every day. Portion sizes are generous as well. Manager Joe and his staff will take of you and your dining party with the same level of attention you would receive in a full-service restaurant. Those of you that read my reviews know I'm picky and I don't give out accolades unless they are well deserved, and they certainly are in the case of this location of Chicken Maison.“

“AMAZING Mediteranean food!! If we lived near here, we would dine at Georgie's often! The steak and chicken kebab as well as the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked! As a delicious accent our family feasted on tasty rice, Mediterranean salad, cucumber yogurt salad, and grape leaf rolls. To top off a wonderful meal, we ordered their walnut baklava...WOW! The staff were kind and patient, very friendly. Don't miss out on this restaurant!“

“Ok so listen up. I am a real Arabic/Mediterranean guy, so I grew up with this food as a child and my Jordaniain mom makes it when I visit her.

PROS:

- This place is surprisingly excellent to get to the point.

- The employees are not Arabic, they are hispanic but they have good service and they are very good at getting the recipes correctly! They are great and understand the food.

- The portions are great. Do not change this!

- The quality of meat is good!

- The price is very reasonable. This costs the same as garbage fast food places (14 - 20$) but obviously this is real food and much better compared to garbage American food. Great price / value.

- Dining area is small, but cozy. It reminds me of many italian, arabic, etc. family owned restranauts which I grew up eating in.

CONS:

- Please add french fries to your menu. In the Middle East and Europe, it is very weird if a med/greek food place does not have French Fries. Add fries with Mediterranean seasoning. The spicy potatoes are very tasty however.

- Nothing else... Good job guys!

I will return to this place and bring friends! Keep it up and do not change anything for the worse!

“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“Bright, airy restaurant that is larger inside than appears from outside. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot, although you may have to walk a bit when all of the eating places are crowded. Typical SoCal ordering set-up with menu board above the order station. Make your choices, pay, find a table, and wait for your order. You can get your self-serve drink and condiments while you're waiting. Service is generally good with some enthusiastic staff. Food is very good. We shared a chicken schwarma plate with hummus and pita. We added on sides of another hummus and pita. Note that hummus and pita count as 2 sides here. The hummus was good and generous. The pita was grilled and was that lovely fluffy Greek style pita. The schwarma was tender, tasty, juicy, and covered in drippings. I wasn't into spicy, so I got the OG garlic sauce. Deliciously subtle. Prices are reasonable for these days. I noticed another store closer to where we live. Good to know.“

The portions are so big and there was so much rice we didn't need the additional rice but it was so tasty so we didn't mind it. Even with the current economy and the price going up everywhere, this is one of the more affordable restaurants to feed my family of four.“

Thinking the rice bowl would have no sauce.

Unfortunately, when I got my order it was covered in Tahini sauce. They made the order as normal, I just thought when I was asked for sauce there was no other sauce coming on it. I honestly was thinking I would just trash the top part that was covered and go on with my night. BUTTTT, they made me a new one without sauce. This is why Yalla's truck gets 5 stars from me. Great customer service! And the bowl was amazing. I hope they come back to my apartment complex soon!“

LOL.I live in Tustin, but hummus Republic it's a perfect place to hang out with friends and family. Everyone can get what they want.. My son loves the pita sandwich with Morrocan steak or lamb and beef, my daughter the lemon chicken, I love the bowls with those delicious and tasty hummus , basically everything there!“

“Nice place, arabic environment, hookahs, mix grill, arabic tea and coffee, Barbican and some old Egyptian sodas. Capacious place with out door, in-tent, and indoor places. Staying as late as 2am!! People are friendly, good new administration.“

We were going to go for sushi but he needs the restroom so we walked to the food court to use the restroom when I saw one of the last few restaurants still open in the food court and we decided to go with Mr Shawarma as it smelt so GOOD. The lady behind the counter was very nice. We both ordered the beef kabobs with the hummus and pita bread. The plate came with a bed of rice which the kabobs were on the fresh hummus and a fresh salad grilled tomato and grilled onion. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. The price is not too bad specially when it cost almost $15 at McDonalds for a combo now“

“Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.“

Recently after relocating to Huntington Beach I ate at the local Zankou on Beach Boulevard a couple of times in early 2024 and was pleased with the food. However, this last time, December 2924, after they have changed their menu options with more to choose from, the beef Shawarma did not taste nearly as good, and the garlic sauce seemed to be several days old. Not what I’m used to.“
