“New “more than a coffeehouse” in Mountain View with a Venezuelan touch. Good ambiance and the menu offers an extensive list of items to please every taste. I got the “empanaditas” which are fried. Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!“

“Some family friends introduced us to La Cueva and this has become one of our family’s favorite restaurants. Our girls love the Cheese Quesadilla, Bean and Cheese Burrito and the Kids Nachos (nachos covered with refried beans and cheese). My wife and I have had the Shrimp Burrito, Cheese Enchilada, Chicken Enchilada, and the Carnitas platter. All have been really good with great flavor. Regarding the Carnitas, they cook it perfectly so that there is a slight crispness on the outside yet moist on the inside. The star of the show is their green sauce. It has got the perfect balance of heat and flavor. It goes well with all the dishes we have ordered and I found myself putting on other things that I cook at home. You also get a bag of tortilla chips with your order.

This is a family owned business and their customer service is fantastic. Our food is always ready when they say. One thing to be aware of is that they get busy on Fridays so it might be hard to get through on the phone. But keep trying, it's well worth it. Once you try their food you will be hooked. I highly recommend them!!!“

“Absolutely in love with this taqueria! All there food is excellent! I have a friend who's vegan and has different tastes then me but she loved the place as well! Highly recommend the carnitas for your choice of meat, so flavorful! Generous portions. Great food for a good price! The staff as really awesome as well! I go there alot and they know me so well at his point, that I didn't even have to say my order when I walked in lol they had there machine ready for me to pay cause they knew what I wanted 🤣😁 Truly awesome staff!“

“I was meaning to write this last week, but a few days ago I went to visit Stanford University and I came across this cafe. The cashier at the time (whose name is Jose) was so nice and helpful with my order. Not only did he recommend a great food and drink item but he also informed me about the rewards system and he helped me go through the process step by step. I don't normally write these types of reviews, but I wanted to spend an extra minute out of my day to do this because I could tell he works hard, and good service can be quite hard to come by these days. “The food was well seasoned and hot when it was brought out to us. The reason I gave it a 4 is because I had trouble having a conversation across the booth due to the loud music. However, that is the atmosphere of this place: Loud. It's very lively during karaoke nights where anyone can volunteer to sing whether you know how to or not. I also gave it a 4 because the price of a 16oz cup of coffee is $3. Love this place for the food and the music, not the coffee.“
