“Came here for my friend's birthday. Service was great. Parviz made our drinks quickly and was very friendly. He gave us great recommendations for drinks as well. The other staff were great too! Definitely recommend coming here with friends/family. Located in Los Altos street market so there's food to eat with your drinks!“

“This place was a great place for a bit of fun. I stopped in for cocktail and then ended up getting a burger from the pub . Wow . I'm speechless ?. The service is unmatched. The quality of the ingredients used was a wonderful complement for the evening. I went on a Sunday . I will returning for brunch . Just WOW . Kris made my drinks , he was attentive and consitant with the standard of excellence. Made it feel like a scene in a bond movie. Atmosphere alone is reason to visit . The price shouldn't be an issue for such an experience.“

“Awesome takeover event on Saturday woth so cal beers. Beertenders were helpful and chill. Regulars were super friendly amd talkative. Chopped it up with Ruby because we were in close quarters and enjoyed her beer knowledge. Good times, would pop in frequently if I lived near but will settle on stopping for a cold one when traveling. Fire but expensive pastrami next door, too“

“I recently hosted an event for students here and it was fantastic! The space/venue, hospitality, service, and food were excellent. I could not get a hold of anyone by phone the week before our event since the pub was closed for summer hour and menu changeover. However, I was able to get connected with the pub manager via email and he immediately replied and was accommodating to my request to come 30 minutes prior to the pub opening to set up and order food. When I arrived the team started rearranging tables and setting up our space. The manager helped me order food and ensured the food was brought out right as our guests arrived. This event was very casual and we had only asked for help with ordering food in advance, but the whole team there went above and beyond our expectations! We would definitely host future events here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have an event or to just come to for a hangout!“

“Good prices, good karaoke, really friendly staff members. Super low-key vibe. A billiards table and dart board are also available. Funny novelty machine in the women's (maybe men's too?) restroom. No opinion on the food as I haven't tried it yet but the reviews and photos are promising! I will be back“

“Stopped by three times during my week stay in Palo Alto. Chill, laid-back bar with Pliny on tap. Why try anywhere else when you found something right up your alley? Will be back next time my travels bring me to Stanford. Didn’t have food but looks surprisingly good.“

“I came to visit Saratoga for my birthday. My favorite part of this mini vacation was going to this bar! It was such a fun night. Loved the vibe and ambiance! The bartender, Jessica, was super nice! Kurt, the owner (owns it with his wife), gave us fun facts about the bar. There was so much history about how this bar actually used to be a Bank (hence the name). Now it's a historical building. The bar had comfy couches and some cool booths to sit in. If you're in Saratoga going to catch a concert at the Mountain Winery or in the area visiting you have to check out this bar. If you want to affordable drinks and to hang out with some down to earth people you need to come here.“

“I frequently attend happy hours here, and the beer selection is great. The bartenders are welcoming and go out of their way to make the service great. I ordered a NASA Spacebar pint glass for my beer and the bartender rinsed and iced the glass before carefully pouring my beer to the rim with the optimal amount of head.Attention to detail is on point here, and I'm glad for service like this.“

“Ate here a few weeks ago while family was in town, and was very happy with the experience. Just barely ordered before Happy Hour ended (or was it Super Happy Hour? I don't recall!). While I wasn't really all that hungry, I opted for the fish and chips, because it's my goto for testing this type of place on a first visit. It was HUGE fillet, with crispy breading that was properly fried. I almost couldn't finish it, which is odd for me. Could have used a lot more lemon, as one piece doesn't do much, but that's such a minor issue. The service was great, even though our server was literally on her first shift, and being shadowed by another staff member. All in all it was a great experience.“

Bar area and the incredible staff.Kid-friendliness: Having games for kids to play is rare this day and age. “Fun place for a quick outing. Not an indictment on this particular location but just the brand, I personally wish there were more holes for the table top golf. That was way more fun for me personally as opposed to the mini golf. Oh and customer service was welcoming and friendly.“

“Our son attended a soccer party down the road and we stopped by here for lunch and for some NFL football. The food was fantastic and they have a ton of beers on tap. If you're in the area and want a great meal with a fun atmosphere this is the place for sure. The service was also spot on.“

Our server was friendly, our drinks were very good, the music was danceable but not too loud, and there was a friendly and accepting atmosphere among the patrons. “While on our way to an event in Sunnyvale, my friend and I decided to look for a place to have a drink using Google Maps. That's when we stumbled upon the Duke of Edinburgh. Once we walked in, we were immediately drawn to the inviting and authentic English pub vibe. The red vinyl booths and cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. We took a seat at the bar, and despite there being only one bartender, he worked hard to give us great drinks and quick service. Although I didn't look closely at the menu, I made a mental note to keep this place in mind the next time I'm in Sunnyvale because I would like to try their food.“
