I live really close to this place so I go pretty often. Last time the burrito was really bad. I guess I forgot because I literally ordered the same thing. It was really bad(very little meat, with lots of fat). The caldo de res is good. Not bad, just don't get a burrito. Not only is it a crappy burrito. It's 13 bucks. They are always nice, but I don't eat nice. I eat burritos.
We stopped in at this place, knowing that I had a reputation in our family, but the owners had changed. We didn't expect a lot. However, it was out of this world, to quote one of our party. My torta Cubano was fantastic, my cousin's tamale was exquisite, and the weather was great too. ;)

I came to L.A. for the authentic Mexican food and I got just exactly what I was looking for here!! The flavors the freshness I mean everything about the food was amazing!! I came mainly for the menudo and it did not disappoint WOW!! And the tacos had some of the softest corn tortillas! The server up front was also very sweet and helpful
