What truly won me over was the fish—they serve it whole! For those of us who know that a huge part of the flavor is in the head, being able to savor it like this is an absolute treat.
The service is exceptionally kind and welcoming. While the space itself could use a bit of a cosmetic upgrade, that simplicity actually gives it a unique charm and a subtle sense of mystique that fits the overall experience well. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Incredible food! It was my second time here and it was just as good as I remembered it. We got the vegetarian platter (comes with each of the vegetarian sides) plus the tofu tibs and the chicken dorowat (in the middle). Everything was delicious! It is so much food though, we ordered that for 2 people and had to take most of it home. The atmosphere feels very 2000’s, I love it. Service was a bit slow on a Sunday night, but they were very nice. I love this place and will be coming back soon!“

“So happy I rediscovered Paradocs (thanks to Starbucks being closed one day!). I went once to Paradocs early pandemic and the drip coffee wasn’t for me so I didn’t go back for a while. I’m so glad I did because when I did, I found “my” go to Paradocs drink - an americano with steamed milk! Now I go all the time! I’m happy to support an independent business. One guy, Taka, owns and operates it himself. He has it nailed down. I look forward to when indoor dining opens and we can sit inside on the cute vintage chairs. (I should note there are a couple tables on the sidewalk that are great. Thankful to the city or county for loosening sidewalk dining restrictions. Hope that stays.)“
