“Walking into Casablanca Moroccan Kitchens is like finding a hidden gem. It’s on Melrose, but once you’re inside, you feel like you've been transported to a beautiful home in Morocco. The place is decorated so beautifully—all these vibrant colors and rich details that make you feel like you’re on a vacation.
The people who run the place are the best. They are so warm and welcoming, and they make sure you're taken care of from the moment you walk in. It's truly a family feel, and the chef often comes out to say hello, which is a really nice touch.
The food is incredible. They have a set menu that makes ordering so easy because your meal includes appetizers, a salad, and an entrée. The lamb tagine is a must-try. It's so tender it literally falls off the bone and is full of amazing flavor. The chicken pastilla is also a standout—it's this delicious mix of sweet and savory with flaky pastry. The couscous is perfect, light and fluffy, and pairs great with any of the meat dishes.
Now, let's talk about drinks. A great thing about this place is that you can bring your own drinks. Just make sure to ask your server before you set them on the table. And a heads-up on parking: it's street parking only, so you might have to look around for a spot.

The slider I got was a real thin, tough piece of chicken which wasn't very tender and the batter was over done and tasted greasy which was no surprise as it dripped out when I got the carton out and had a hint of a beef taste. The fillet included was just the same but a little bigger but the fries were the saving grace! They were nice a fluffy but the chicken here is terrible and wouldn't visit again. The staff were great but the food was terrible and it didn't even taste like chicken! No wonder they have spice it's to disguise the taste! Anyone trying for the first time I'd recommend getting it with no spice to get what it actually tastes like! Rank and horrible! Will go elsewhere for better quality chicken.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “I love Indian and have had tons in my life. This is hands down the best place. Their flavor profile is sophisticated and layered, the food here is top quality and it's my favorite Indian restaurant ever. After having their tikka masala I can't be satisfied with any other. Their saag and curries are also excellent. The chicken they use is whatever so I always go for fish. The flavor here is truly magnificent, I come here whenever I'm in the area. Definitely a must go for everyone.“

You won't find another place in Los Angeles that serves biryani with such an authentic and flavorful taste. My suggestion would be to make the biryani spicier and add a bit more sauce for an even richer flavor.“

Father son combo team, the food is absolutely as authentic as it comes… we dined in, 3-4 tables seating 2-3ppl each… not a place to go for a nice dinner or vibes, but who needs that when the service, food and authenticity is off the charts?!? I gave them 5 stars all around because the full experience truly was a 10 out of 10!

It’s one of those unassuming places that SHOULD go viral!

LOTs of take out orders while we were there, and a few dine ins… even so, our food was served fast, and perfectly made. So many classic Persian dishes, and their ingredients are so very well sourced, they use Australian, grass fed lamb shanks and mine fell off the bone!

The ground beef kabob was served with a fluffy saffron basmati rice, a fresh and hot pita bread, side salad, raw onions, grilled tomato, peppers and some butter for the rice (exactly as it should be!) truly, an orchestra a flavors in your mouth! We had so much leftover, big portions! Make sure to order it juicy if you get the ground beef kabob.

“Wow this spot was a pleasant surprise we stumbled upon. I’ve been passing by this restaurant for years wondering about it and we finally made a visit. This is definitely one of my top dining experiences in LA for the atmosphere, service, food, and overall uniqueness.

Everything is a set menu with set price which make ordering so much easier. We ordered the Moroccan Feast for the 4 of us and after tax and tip came to around $60 a person which honestly is worth because this is a feast! And we enjoyed a belly dancing show that we got to participate in. This was so much and honestly helped with the digestion haha.

I cannot wait to come back with a group. It’s a very cozy spot and so welcoming more you’re in. Very much feels like a little getaway from LA once you’re inside.“
