My good friend had told me to visit this place on my trip to LA said it was one of his favorites growing up. After eating there I can see why. It was a busy day but our service was very nice and attentive to us. The decor here was beautiful and had such a next Mexican flair. I forget the name of my order but it came with half a chicken, asada, potatoes, rice, and beans. The chicken was soft and flavorful but the asada wow! This place is a gem. Great Guacamole. Great service. Great atmosphere. We had a mixed grill which came with a little cup of soup, tortillas, rice and beans, que so fundido and some potatoes and onions. Enjoyed ourselves very much. Even enjoyed the musicians who came in from the street to serenade you. Old school.

This place was packed with people, and it took a while for us to get our food. Thankfully, when we got the food, we realized why it was so busy. I got the Enchiladas Suizas or Green Enchiladas and an Agua De Tamarindo. They gave us a little bowl of sopita as an appetizer, and it was so delicious; It brought me back to my childhood.
