Hands down one of my favorite meals in LA. Shin, the owner and chef, is a lovely human being who was thoughtful and caring with every piece of sushi he handed my way. Can't wait for my next visit.
This is omakase as it is meant to be. The freshest fish, prepared with care, and served in a minimalist but friendly and welcoming environment. This isn’t pretentious, place to be seen sushi, and it’s not for cool points, it’s just good people making a great meal. Given the quality of fish, it’s worth the price and then some.

Really great spot. Food was great and chef was a super cool dude. Great value too. I think someone of the negative comments must be from those new to more authentic Omakse experiences.
