Amarone kitchen & Bar

The food was absolutely incredible, but when they got busy, their service got slower and slower and... slower. There were only 2 waiters for some 15 tables in their second room. ? The poor guys were overworked. If they got another waiter (or two), this place would be top of my list for a go-to restaurant. I'm telling you their food was out of this world. I really miss the Amarone location on Sunset, which had to close because the building is slated to be demolished. I finally made it to the new location on Beverly. While the surroundings aren't as polished as the Sunset digs the food is just as good. I have a soft spot for the charming owner Sandro who has the lovely but all but lost habit of greeting every guests' table to check on the meal. Marco takes great care of us every time we go there and makes very good food recommendations. Sandro the owner runs a nice restaurant with great food. Both of them come over and chat with us and we feel like we are family already!
